Gilbert is the opposite of a spot up shooter, though. The man can create for himself anywhere. He also can get to the rack. His main problems are the fact he settles for a jumpshot alot when he's not that good of a pure shooter and he constantly takes bad shots.

I don't get it. Deke = Dikembe. If you think otherwise I have no clue who it is.

Sort of agree with tbach that given he's got Pasta Pasta Gilbert ain't too shabby. But in reality I also find Gil way overrated and the injuries are scurrry.

Dumars is one of those guys I know I and other stat boys probably underrate, but even factoring that I think he went too high.

ya and I think cwebb will have an even tougher time scoring against a great defender which there will be plenty of in this league.

That's why I love my McHale pick and why I picked him over Pippen. Because McHale can score pretty much at will on any single defender in the history of the NBA.

I think only like 5-10 guys max can do this in this league, and McHale is one of them. Plus he brings elite D as well, such a rare combo.

KC, tbach thought he drafted someone else who was not drafted yet, and i THINK he likely went back to edit that dude's name out, hence the confusion

I also am using the eye test and see Marion as a better player and a more versatile player. This isn't even close.

BTW, I am a big fan of Worthy.
I'm not just using one game. Of course I'm not gonna say go watch every game he's ever played in so I named a game that is shown frequently on ESPN classic. Maybe we can talk about this off the board but like I said i didn't want to get into the depth of it because it would reveal my strategy. Maybe after the draft i can tell you why I'd take Worthy over Marion.

no, im going from memory here, and my memory was bibby played amazing in the playoffs and was their true "#1 option," hence how he became immensely overrated (OMG SO CLUTCH WEBBER JUST FADES) and got a huge contract.

No one is like Shaq besides maybe Wilt but no one in this era. He had a presence inside he just wasn't anchored inside like Shaq. He could step out and hit a 10-15 footer. He definitley had a presence inside though and he was a good defensive center. He wasn't as physically dominating as Shaq but trust me if you were on the other team you never forgot that Ewing was in the middle.

Yea, of the other 3 I'm spaking about, probably only one of them was the type to drive the lane and create his own shot, nevertheless, I would have taken that guy easily before Arenas

yeah he was the guy at the end of the game, but to call him their #1 option is ridiculous. Webber lead those teams in scoring pretty mucch every time he was healthy (except once when Peja had like 26 a game or something) and also was teh leading scorer in the playoffs every time when healthy (and also the focal point of their offense). yeah bibby hit those big shots, but that would be like saying that robert horry was the go to guy for the lakers...

I hope the draft gets back to me tonight....otherwise it might be hard for me to get the pick in before Saturday.

Obv you don't have to, but please PM someone with your list then and they will pick the BPA. I don't mind doing it and you don't have to worry about me trying to trade up to nab any of ur players since i'm pretty much out of amo as I traded away my 2nd and 3rd rounder.

Re: RayRay,
You say (I believe it, not gonna be bothered to look it up to confirm) that his %s are the same as ever, just lower usage. That's not a good thing.

Gilbert is basically god with a crippled knee.

There's someone who should have been picked like 20 spots ago still out there. I'm not even drafting and I still want to trade to pick him/her (don't wanna give out too much info by gender pronouns), just to get it over with. At this point, it's way worse than how much Pippen fell. I do have an idea why he/she's fallen, though, and it's not all that shocking.

I'm going to preemptively cast my vote for best team: Epipen, congrats, you win.

Draft got so awesome Im too hyped to defend my pick.

Id just like to remphasise the reasons I took Dumars were ability to play both guard spots very well, defense, big game chops and longetivity (very important with Webber already on the team and the other picks I was considering). Whilst I agree I reached a bit for him, I really needed a player like him for this team. Also, I think role player is a bit insulting to the guy. He was a 6 time all star, 4 time All defensive selection and finals MVP and averaged close 20/5 for the majority of his prime.

lol @ the him/her comment. I agree about the person who should have been picked 20 spots ago (as long as it's the same guy I am thinking of which i'm pretty sure it is).

And thanks for naming me the best team, holla.

I don't know, I don't like Gilbert at all. I can think of at least one person at his position alone I would rather have who I think is better all around for playing with Dikembe and pretty much just better all around.

Also I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of the same person as the last epip and AC.
