Agreed. Just implement like a 5 spot penalty in the draft for their next pick or something.

McHale def owns Barkley 1v1.

Without a trade, it's decent, with a trade I don't like it at all, maybe I'm undervalueing Billups a lot, but I don't think it was a lock for him to go before your next pick.

I think the only reason people are hating on the Paul pick is because hes only played for a few years. I think that if we bump this in 5 years its very possible that Lebron should've gone #1 and Paul went right where he should've.

No, he said McHale was the best player he ever played against, at least that's what epipen put in his write-up. Irrelevant anyway as I'm sure Charles would tell you there wasn't a single person in the NBA he couldn't shut down with ease. "Best" is just a relative term.

by very possible, you mean like 2% possible.

And Charles would be being him cocky/wrong self. Lol at a 6'6 (really 6'4) guy trying to guard a 6'10 (really like 7+ feet when u factor in his arms).

Also not sure if he said best or toughest, regardless they both mean roughly the same.

I thought Billups should've definitely gone within the next 5 picks FWIW, but obviously I have no clue what other drafters are thinking.

Who is up next?

AND WHO PICKS SOON AND WANTS TO TRADE DOWN??? PM ME!!!!!!!!!

And it's possible he could fall off the map like a TON of guys who haven't been drafted yet that would've gotten similar hype at his age.

He got drafted over Stockton for crying out loud, that's bat**** insane.

not a fan of the Gasol pick. I heart Gasol, but meh. Interesting team though.

Isiah, in this format, will have one season of PER over 20. He went at 15. The only guys who I think can get away with this are pretty elite defensively, and Isiah isn't.

Dirk will have 4 seasons of PER over 25 (maybe more). He'll have at least 7 seasons of PER over 20.

Payton will have 7 seasons over 20.

Bad, bad pick.

Yeah, Paul going over Stockton and Malone is pretty terrible, even if he's better this season than any PG since Magic.

Please name all of the 22 year olds that are top 2 in MVP voting that fell off the map(not counting injuries).

This past year he was top 5 in the entire league(and many would say he was #1).....barring injury, why would you think he'd fall off?

Why do people fail to realize that Chris Paul is injury prone?

I don't agree, Chauncey is the best PG available (well, not available anymore!) when you factor in everything (like... defense). there are a few guys who are close, but chauncey is a great pick. i knew i wouldn't be able to get him with such a bad 2nd round pick, but i wanted him.

I'd put Lebron as 40-45% to end up being better than Jordan(although unless he finds a "Pippen" I'd put it at much much less that he accomplishes as much as Jordan, adn therefore I wouldn't be surprised if many people didn't consider him as good).

I'd put Paul as about 45-50% to be better than Stockton.

This is barring injury of course.

Clark do you similarly disapprove of the Howard and Amare picks? They were taken a little lower but nobody's ever mentioned them as possible best ever at their position or even MVP candidate.

GKA(and everyone else),

Please list your team so far at the end of your writeups. Obviously not a huge deal now, but will make things easier for us in later picks when trying to evaluate your picks.

Gasol pick >>> Billups pick. Gasol the best of available centers by a pretty good margin, I think.

How is it legitimate to put barring injury in every post where you pimp up CP3. He has missed like half the games Stockton missed during his entire career in 3 seasons.

Chris. Paul. Is. Injury. Prone.
