he is when they run him in one play a series to throw the exact same quick slant to Kerley every time, like they did on Sunday

the announcers even called out how obvious it was and pointed out that the Seahawks finally jumped it and Tebow had nowhere to go

lol Tony Sparano

Instead of actually liveblogging this game, we should use this time to rank all 32 NFL Starting QBs by entertainment value.

like literally on four consecutive possessions the Jets ran Tebow out for one play, lined up in the exact same formation, and threw the exact same one-receiver route pass

the fourth time the Seahawks finally jumped the route and Tebow had to run

Interesting question is, are elite centerpiece QBs more or less entertaining than good QBs with potential for baffling plays? (i.e. would you rank Brady, Brees, Peyton over Vick, Romo, Rivahs)

it depends if you prefer the "awe" factor to the "lulz" factor. SE clearly prefers the lulz factor.

I think the QBs that provide the most entertainment value are the QBs who have good talent and are prone to baffling mistakes.

I think the top tier has to be Romo, Cutlah, Rivahs, Vick.

Brees has a little more entertainment value than surgeons like Manning(s) and Brady because he is a card-carrying member of the Unleash the Dragon Society.

Peyton and Godgers are incredibly entertaining, but Brees and Brady are not

Rodgers is amazing as a pure passer and can make some throws that nobody else in the league can. Plus the 60-yard bomb on the run is always in play.
Manning directing traffic and just owning defensive coordinators is incredibly entertaining.

Brees...meh. It's like watching Texas Tech under Leach. not exciting because you know he's going to hit Moore/Colston/Graham for a bunch of 20-yard passes. but he's more exciting than possession-offense, hit-Welker and Woodhead, Mr. Tom Brady.

I'm finding my viewpoint a hard thing to describe, actually

Of the elite QB's, I would go for entertainment value

Eli > Roethlisberger > Brees > Rodgers > Brady > Peyton.

Peyton's decreased arm strength means he just methodically works the ball down the field. Brees makes a ton of big plays and has to throw a ton, so his games are usually entertaining to watch. Eli is #1 because he can also have some games (e.g. the last 3) where he throws out an absolute clunker and tops it off with some hilarious ManningFace.

Roethlisberger's fat white guy scrambling provides some lolz. Rodgers can make some plays with his legs, Peyton and Brady are only marginally more entertaining than the absolutely awful QB's who don't even fail in spectacular fashion, they just fail.

I think Cutlah and Romo are 1 and 2.

They're good enough to get their teams in playoff contending situations, but also mistake prone enough to fail on those massive stages.

No way Wilson should be that low, definitely not lower than Gabbert or Cassel. Those guys are just depressing to watch.
