Different level of beast, imo. Did you confuse "African Beast" with "Black Beast" or did I? Doesn't matter really. I was worried a bit about the possible racial implications it at first then thought you dinged me on it. But beast is just too standard to be taken that way.

It's about a principle I love in sports where a big upset happens, and then in the rematch it happens again ... revealing that it probably really wasn't an upset at all. And I wasn't familiar with this example of it till something I saw about it last night.

Anyone think Colby has a chance?

I could see him pushing the pace and making eking out 3 rounds on volume, that is about it for pathways. Power difference between him/Usman is massive.

So many of the big names are retired/semi-retired/shelved right now, this feels like the first big UFC fight in forever

Colby came pretty close to winning I thought, just needed 1 more rd. That is pretty close vs Usman. He started too slow but it seemed like he was outlanding him and buckling him more over the final few rounds.

Usman is the goat welterweight

GSP fought 1 guy that had the combination of wrestling/standup to compete with him and he lost. Coming back to fight Bisping instead of Woodley wasn't great either. He's a legend but going Usman over him for top WW ever. Fought way tougher comp and didn't get a bunch of easy LnP wins.
