Dustin said it was already cracked before the fight went to the ground. That’s matters.

So we've got a guy who can't win a fight slurring wives of opponents and kicking at them at face-off. A hero??????? Or a disgrace?

Most UFC fans chant "USA" then boo Dustin and cheer Conor. He's a hero to them.

Some blood red tomato just took the podium at the post fight presser and said Conor and Dustin were going to go best of 7. Dustin is about to be rich(er).

I don't believe in karma and those things, but it's hilarious how Conor pulled up on RDA earlier this week, saying he dodged him because of a bruised foot AND telling Dustin all week long he's leaving on a stretcher lol

Conor got completely owned in round 1 and then commits seppuku

I have 0 interest in seeing #4. Give Dustin the title shot next!

Would Conor have made more money fighting jake paul rather then losing to dustin twice?

what an excellent ending. if conor gets KO'd or subbed, he's fine right now. instead he's got months of pain and rehab ahead of him. ****in dirtbag

Jesus dude, it was just a little trash talk, it's not like he sexually assaulted someone, assaulted an old man in a bar, threw a dolly at a bus full of people, jumped into the cage to assaulted a referee, backed out of promised charitable contributions to children, and drove while intoxicated or anything like that. Calm down.

He just made a **** ton of money. 2nd highest gate in UFC history, probably 2nd most PPV Buys in UFC history. Also, I'm not sure what makes you think he had the option of fighting Jake Paul.

2 judges had rd 1 10-8 to Poirier

Actually don't agree with that, McGregor did do some damage from the bottom with elbows/upkicks, started off the fight striking well and had the sub attempt.

It was a dominant rd for Poirier overall but not 10-8

Solid cheating by Conor on those uptick. Has anyone ever loved anyone as much as Herb loves Conor?

Where does Porier rank on the P4P list He seems like such a complete fighter.

Probably not a bigger McGregor fan on the forum than me. Hes the reason I got into MMA. Have really enjoyed watching him throughout the years and hes caused me to start branching off and watching other fighters and becoming more of a fan of the UFC as opposed to just Conor. Porier is very clearly the more well rounded, superior fighter though. Im not even sure Conor is all that washed as much as Porier has just become a really great and well rounded fighter. Watched a lot of replays of DP fights leading up to this fight and he really does have some great performances against good guys.

Porier played it perfectly of course. Ran it back with Conor and made money a second time with a full arena and huge fight and still will fight for the belt next. I honestly hope Khabib comes out of retirement and fights Porier again if he beats Oliver.

Conor, on the other hand, I feel needs to just box Jake Paul and then fade off into the sunset. Of course I'll watch Porier/Conor 4 but would prefer the UFC moves on and has a legitimate division from now on. If Conor insists on fighting UFC still, maybe fighting Olivera if he loses to Poririer would be a good consolation for Olivera. Conor still can build up other names with his following and fame. I'd want him to win like 3 fights against legit guys before he's even taken seriously again for the belt.

Conor having to win 3 fights to get a title shot is not how this works. Conor was gifted title shots vs Eddie Alvarez and Khabib and he'll be gifted a 3rd title shot if it makes business sense.

Khabib doesn't need to come out of retirement. His teammate Islam Makhachev who has a similar style is the #9 LW in the world and headlines the next UFC event. If he continues to win he will be favored against everyone he faces including Poirier even if Poirier is the champion.

That's a good question but it's definitely subjective. Poirier is currently ranked #6 on the official list.

Jon Jones is the #1 P4P fighter in the world right now and I wouldn't have him in the top 5. I'd have Poirier above both Jon Jones and Alexander Volkanowski (#4). Kamaru Usman is very clearly the #1 P4P fighter in the world right now.

I"m thinking now he might just be a pure "puncher's chance" type (MMA version) who happened to land that chance early in a couple of his early megabouts. If someone was that and got lucky like that early, well, getting mowed down in fight after fight after the little fluky heater is exactly what would happen, and that is what's happening. EXCEPT his fight with Khabib was strong ... he won a round. That don't happen. So Conor is a combination puncher's chance/hype monster/former warrior (no longer warrior), it seems.

Yea the Aldo thing could have been a massive fluke. Conor was smart to avoid ever fighting him again. Like a lot of people he is just too rich now and everyone around him probably gasses him up so it's impossible for him to improve. Would love to see him fight Nate again and Nate get some redemption.
