Some good news about next week

I guess there is still a chance Diaz just doesnt fight out of spite.

They fixed Diaz test quick. Guess that's what happens when Nate shows up at USADA's HQ with nunchucks.

Askren is the biggest hype job mma has ever seen; dude is fat, out of shape, no striking and probably can't beat anybody in the top 10 of the 170lb division.

lol what an embarrassment of a "main event"

They traded Mighty Mouse for Askren. LOLOL

If he's still allowed to fight in the UFC, Askren should go for a third unconsciousness loss in a row. Might as well be indisputably historic at something. Beats being ordinary and forgotten.

thoughts on Masvidal/Diaz tonight?

I think Masvidal is just better everywhere and barring it getting into a war of attrition/cardio that he should win this fight. I could see the stage being an issue for him though, Diaz has the 2 big fights with McGregor, has fought for the title before, Masvidal really only has 1 fight even close to that and it was vs Darren Till.

I think that's what it will be. Normal Diaz fight.

Nate in the 3rd or later.

I don't think Nate can lean on, wear down Masvidal the way he could Pettis.

More I think about it the pressure may get to Masvidal, if he just uses his leg kicks and fights on the outside then he could probably win some rds doing that vs Diaz but the whole BMF/celebs/spectacle going to make it hard to stick to a conservative gameplan.

The BMF aspect of this fight play into Nate's favor. The big stage / bright lights do too as does the 5 round fight. Given all that and how the fighters looked at weigh ins I favor Nate as the underdog. I think it's a pick 'em fight, like who the hell really knows what will happen but if you have to bet it seems smart to bet the underdog here.

Rozenstruik must have concrete in his gloves. That almost looked like it was just a tap and it send Arlovski down.

Yeah that was impressive. Walker looked like he didn't belong in there.

It's satisfying because now all the Johnny Walker fanboys can keep their mouths shut.

Thats even another level to anything i previously saw from Anderson. The guy clearly had a chip on his shoulder going in there and wanted to prove a point.

Sweet chin music baby. Good win for Kevin Lee, let's see if under Faraz he can rise to the top.

Arlovski's chin has been shot for years. I'm shocked he's still around.

Sucks Amirkhani lost. He's had some epic interviews over the years and could've been a star, but doesn't seem to be that good.

Arlovski's chin was considered suspect before he ever even fought in the UFC.
