I dont think a rematch is a terrible idea. Tony should definately get the next title shot but it could be a good idea for him to be on the Khabib/Poirier card and the only realistic opponents are cowboy or as someone mentioned earlier Gaethje.

No reason for a rematch, Tony kicked his ass. It's not like the fight was going to have a different outcome if it continued except Cerrone entire face would look like a swollen pussy.

First round I thought Cerrone arguably had the best of it but he just couldn't hang with Tony's pace in the second, glad he wasn't subjected to a third.

Rory looked good, a lot better than vs Fitch when he was talking retirement after

Him vs Lima rematch for the WW grand prix title gonna be best fight Bellator can make.

I’ve seen people theorize all kinds of things about Rory but I think the weight of the tournament is a lot. He basically had three consecutive title fights booked in advance. That’s a lot of pressure.

Conor probably has like 2 more fights max with this ESPN+ stuff unless UFC sweetens the pot for him.

He probably goes 0-2 if he fights anyone worth a damn and retires never defending his belt and not have a winning fight in almost 5 years.

A lot of this depends on his motivation. He looked like **** and fought like **** vs khabib, not that he wouldn’t have lost that fight at his best but if he comes back looking like that he won’t beat many in the top 5.

man it would be hilarious if Paulie gets sparked clean out by Artem tonight

It would be hilarious but it's really unlikely. I realize bare knuckle is different from traditional boxing but not enough difference to make up for the fact Paulie was a world class boxer not that long ago and Lobov is a mediocre MMA fighter.

When people keep are constantly bringing up Paulie maybe breaking his hand as a way for Artem to win, that doesn't seem like a great sign.

Douche on douche action anyway, they both seem unlikable, although Paulie more so.

Odds were silly.

Was an impressive victory alright. I fancied Moicano to win so cleary I underestimated Korean Zombie. Was such a clean punch he knocked him down with.

I figured this as well (although I'd never watched Paulie box) but it seems boxing and bare knuckle are not as similar as we might have thought. I watched the whole main card and found it interesting that Paulie was the only one on the card that was constantly running away from his opponent. Everyone else, boxers included, were engaging their opponent. Paulie is a boxer, but he is not a "fighter." If you saw him do what he did tonight out in the streets you'd laugh at him.

Sure, if he was running and then picking his opponent apart then that would be one thing but what I saw tonight was a guy running, throwing very low output, and when he did throw his shots were very weak and inconsequential.

Paulie's prefight antics were quite entertaining and he has great trash talk, IMO. That alone had me pulling for him (and a very unlikely future matchup with McGregor) but then I saw him in the ring and quickly joined Team Lobov. I could go without seeing Paulie ever "fight" again.

Everyone has been underestimating Korean Zombie but remember he looked very good vs Yair Rodriguez before Yair landed that hail mary KO with 1 second left in the fight.

I'm on JDS tonight. Odds seem silly again.

Ngannou has beastly power and could easily get the ko, think JDS should be small fave tho. I don't understand why everyone is forgetting how tentative Ngannou was against Lewis, or how Stipe wrestled him (something JDS could do, like he did against Carwin).

If he's past his mental struggles he indeed might run through JDS. Him scorching a decrepit Cain doesn't mean much to me for this fight tho.

Is Cejudo still going to defend the flyweight title, is that still a division going forward? UFC hasn't been very clear on it.

Maybe winner of this vs Cejudo as a blowoff to the division.

Ngannou is such a monster

If DC gets past Stipe, he should want to fight Ngannou rather than retire. Should be a good payday.
