GSP is way too classy. I would have called him a ****ing ****** after the fight.

In a way though, it's perfect. You can't even enjoy the moral satisfaction of telling yourself "well at least I'm the better man."

No, you got the **** kicked out of you by a dude who's 1000x the man you'll ever be.

i dont get why gsp is supposed to be this great dude. from what ive read hes pretty much just a corporate shill wannabe who was too much of a bitch to keep it real.

i conceived the opinion from a bunch of pro-gsp articles. all he talks about is "his brand" and how he wanted to say stuff but he couldnt bc of "his brand." dude sounds worse than labron.

If he was Labron, he would have said "**** all of you" to his hometown crowd tonight.

Swinging wildly is overrated. Complete tactical domination is where it's at.

Victor is a fine poster, but trololololing this thread.

GSP is so good it's pretty insane. Completely destroying kos to the point the fight turned into a joke.

Why try to finish the guy and open yourself for another flash KO when you are picking the guy apart with your jab and leg kicks?

GSP is so insanely good the only chance anyone has against him is a random wild punch. He is the best wrestler in MMA, among the best boxers and BJJ practitioners in his division. He is the best strategist in MMA and among the most respectful people in all of sport. Not to mention last night he basically reinvented MMA by destroying an opponent using a single tool which was previously rarely used in the sport.

The only sad thing is I cant really see how he is not the champ for a long time so it sort of makes all his fights a little less suspenseful.

Totally agree. Even if he is a legit nice guy, and does have a "brand", who the fk talks about "their brand".

tbf I think he gets kind of a bad rap for not finishing fights. I thought he actually did take some chances in the last couple rounds of this one. If he fought more mid-tier guys he wouldn't have this problem, but he never loses and only fights super tough fighters.

I doubt we'll see some big move to jabs in MMA except from Greg Jackson fighters who have already been doing a lot of it already. These jab fights are the worst though, I'd rather watch 5 rounds of lay and pray/cage clinching.

Silva favored in that fight right?

GSP does not want to fight Anderson. Whenever he has been asked about that fight he always responds by saying 'If I go up to 185 it will be for good, I would never fight at 170 again', which doesn't really indicate he has a real desire to fight Anderson, it's really just ducking the question.
