What did yall think of the decision between Casey and Hill?

I had it for Hill but was anticipating a split dec. Apparently most of the media and fans scored it for Hill. http://mmadecisions.com/decision/931...vs-Angela-Hill

Kind of funny that this was the first time I bet on a fight (put a cheeky fiver on Angela Hill).

I actually think Gaethje is one of the more charismatic personalities in MMA.

That said, I don't like seeing him get beat up. I think his style is cool as long as he wins.

Yeah, he's one hell of an exciting fighter but with a style like his, I'll always be worried about their post-fighting life.

Vick needs to hire Yahya's agent or something:

Rani Yahya: $116,000 ($48,000 to show, $48,000 win bonus, $20,000 fight week incentive pay)

James Vick: $36,000 ($31,000 to show, $5,000 fight week incentive pay)

Why do I have this weird feeling since the get-go that Khabib v Conor won't happen? Things are too silent atm.

Conor shows up every time and this is the paycheck of Khabib's life; he can't miss it.

I agree that they need to start making noise, though, if they want to really sell it. I can imagine this ppv doing 2m.

Not really the best time to promote a fight. In the thick of the first month of football starting. Oct 6th a pretty weird date.

I blame the UFC for the lack of promotion, they legit haven't been promoted an event for the past year now. UFC promotions have been all during fight week since 2018, it's pretty bizarre. A Mcgregor event without all the theatrics is disappointing tbh, especially considering the fight with Khabib won't be competitive, one guy is going to dominate the other pretty much. We need the drama in the buildup, i hope after UFC 228 they start promoting the hell out of it.

Yeah i really like him to, how can u not, the wars that he had in the ufc are amazing to watch. But the damage he takes almost every fight so far.. i think he's going to have some serious health issues in a couple years.. i hope not for him.

Yeah lets hope for some more promo after ufc 228, the build up/interviews/trash talk for both conor-diaz fights were so amusing

Once 228 finishes I'm guessing they with promote 229 like crazy.

Boom Jeff Neal. He couldn't miss with his hands then that kick. Not bad at all.

1st two fights have delivered.

Got a small bet on Karolina, 2nd sports bet ever for me. The first was on Angela Hill, who was soft robbed. Win this one and I'm back to even.

Damn i keep overlooking Woodley and he just keeps on showing up.

Other than being bigger I don’t get what Till was supposed to be better at than Woodson. My guys Brian Campbell and King Mo had this right the whole way 50/50 odds were craxy

Ya Woodley smoked him

Bring on Covington and Woodley!

Didn't fancy Till at all tbh.....and by **** he was poor when he was in there. Took Woodley by ko/tko (****er Andrade busted bet by knocking other girl out ffs).

1st move he made was countered and he got battered.

Whole show apart from Dodson was fantastic, even the 2 lady fights worth watching.

Gotta give it to Till for hanging in there when Woodley was ground and pounding him to dead for so long.

But Woodley is just to good, and to smart, a fighter atm. I dont see anyone beating him soon. Rumors are he's already fighting at 230 vs colvington(?)

Woodley is a hard guy to beat right now, i'd love to see Tony Ferguson move up to 170 to take him on as he has the style to give Woodley fits.

Is that a podcast, with king mo?

I really only know Till from his last 2 (now 3) fights. He talked a big ham and was undefeated. The fight against wonderboy was bad. I really thought he would have had more to offer. I look forward to seeing Till at 185lbs.

I mean please, dont sound like Rogan when he speak of woodley has one of the best ever in his division, that made me crynge...
btw im saying it in a good funny way

Rory not in UFC.
Ben askren do not fight and couldnt sign with UFC
GSP absent
Nick diaz stop fighting and i think he could of done well vs Woodley actually
(obv not anymore since he stopped )
lorenz larkin seem pretty decent but him as well bellator

With the shouts of Rogan and the absence of real tough competition (beside wonderboy), seem the UFC is trying really hard to push their stars even when it aint a very stellar division.

The 170 division as lost a lot of it luster !

demian maia : too old
robbie lawler: dont see him too much now and does not seem the same fighter anymore, too many war and it seem the one vs rory made its mark.
Dos anjos, cowboy cerrone are 155.
Usman, covington ? ok they got potential maybe but they arent what top competition use to be in that division .

Other division now have taken over the 170 .
Im not hating on woodley but just putting it into a more realistic pov imo.

ps:i think its not a " co·in·ci·dence " he lost vs rory or jake shield earlier in his career.

Im still sad robbie lawler lost in that way vs Woodley. Rumors are Lawler is fighting Wonderboy before the end of the year?
