Pretty confident once Mcgregor fights Khabib he knows he can still milk the Diaz round 3 fight so he will do that. Maybe even as last fight of his career. Nate should fight that other dude just to stay sharp for when Mcgregor is ready. Conor was in NYC this week, maybe he is working things out with MSG.

If Conor and Nate lose they can fight each other to complete the trilogy. I believe Nate just had a baby girl so maybe that motivated him to get out there and get paid. Realistically, it doesn't matter because this is the WWE era and nothing has to make sense anymore.

Seems like Poirier/Nate is going to headline the NYC show with a stacked undercard, so it will be 5 rounds.

That was my first thought. Nate/Poirier is brilliant matchmaking on multiple levels.

I've argued with EDF for a while that Nate could headline a PPV. I think this makes my point.

Conor vs Khabib Oct 6th in Vegas just announced!

That was cool how Dana announced it after the press conf, said "Oh yeah, 1 more thing..." then the video package played.

Also, Schevchenko was looking smoking at that press conf.

Per the press conf, UFC is still looking for a main for MSG.

Gotta be the biggest contrast in styles for a big fight that UFC has had.

Feels like Khabib probably just takes him down and wins but holy **** if McG pulls it off.

I hope Nate Diaz follows through & drops off of the card tbh, Ferguson vs Porier makes more sense & is more interesting.

Im struggling to come up with possibile main events for that MSG card that is bigger/better than Diaz vs Poirer. Maybe Max is back or they have interim FW title fight or they pay DC enough to fight Gus. Every other champ has a fight booked.

A.Silva vs GSP, Nick Diaz vs GSP, Jon Jones vs Cormier 3 for hw title.

Chael had some success striking vs Anderson and Anderson subbed Chael from his back, Anderson ground game was excellent obviously.

Seems like a stretch for either of those things to be true in this fight.

Respect to Conor for taking this fight, didn't think he would. This is such a bad fight for him in every way. He is gonna get killed.

Doubt Jon Jones will be able to fight in November.

Nate just has to fight to stay relevant at this point. He couldn’t risk losing and miss out on another Conor fight but he took his chances and lost out to Floyd/Khabib. The play is to still line up another Conor fight but he can’t just wait four years and expect people to still care to see him fight.

Would it surprise anyone if Dana duped them into thinking they would be on the card with Conor? Then he expected them to just go with it? lol
