The Ferguson vs Khabib fight maybe for interim or real belt, we won't know until the presser today at 5pm. It seems it will be for real belt though, all signs points to it being that way.

Just rename interim belt to intercontinental belt.

It is a pretty stupid move by the UFC and Dana White for not stripping conor...

When it gets pretty clear that the true Champion is Ferguson or khabib ( because Conor wont fight for close to 2 years when we will comeback and never even defend his belt o0) by the majority of fans, all you do is transforming conor into a paper champ which simply dilute your product that the best fighters ( i think) usually have the belt !

All this started for those dumb money fight fore the belt... instead of the best vs the best.

I really think stupid stuff like the main event is for defending an interim bell is completely WWE style $h!t and you lose all credibility, which means money in the long run and gives munition to competition to gain credibility imo.

My read on the press conference yesterday is that he will be stripped. Dana talked about how not being active for 2 years isnt fair on the division and said that the Tony vs Khabib fight will be for the belt.

I think the delay in making it official that they are stripping him may just be them being afraid of repeating the clownshow of when they stripped him of the FW belt especially considering how many previous times this matchup has fallen apart. Im pretty confident that by the time they step into the cage @ UFC 223 that it will be for the undisputed title.

I forgot about Sonnen fighting Wandy, thought his last fight was Ortiz. Didn't realize Jackson had done that well in Bellator, not that they were high quality opponents (Lawal is decent) but still, not as embarassing as I thought (which isn't saying much).

Not sure Ortiz deserved that decision.
