I have been wrong a ton about what he will and won't pull off, but based on history I think the gsp and woodley fights make a lot of sense for him. Highest reward and lowest risk. Built in excuse for losing both those fights and winning either one makes him a lock for inarguable goat contention.

Khabib seems like the lowest ev in draw, and risks vs reward.

yeah getting smashed by GSP is a lot more tolerable than getting smashed by Khabib

If Khabib didnt pull out vs Ferguson and won the Interim belt then i think Conor takes that fight. Same goes for if Frankie or Mendes had the belt when he was challenging. If its the money fight then he takes it regardless of matchup. The reason a Khabib fight isnt happening isnt because its a bad matchup. Its because Khabib has had 3 fights in the last 4 years with a history of pulling out of fights and while really really good is basically unknown outside of MMA.

yeah Khabib is just 155 lb Cain Velasquez. Little wonder they train at the same place.

Seems the fallout from the McGregor incident in Dublin has started...

He was set to be announced as the headline attraction for the year ending UFC 219 on Dec 30th vs Ferguson in a title unification bout but, UFC executives have stated his behavior was unacceptable and as result (eg: punishment) are removing him from consideration for that card.

Also, looks like the end of the road for Bisping. Apparently it didn't matter what the result of the GSP fight was, as the plan all along was to retire in front of his home fans and UFC London in March is when that will happen. But, first he's going to fight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC fight night 122, as a short notice replacement for Anderson silva thanks to Silva's drugs violation.
Gotta give Bisping some credit for being willing to fight anyone and stepping back into the octagon only 3wks after the GSP fight.

Maybe I’m over thinking it but I think there’s a possibility that Conor’s actions were a deliberate attempt to get banned so he doesn’t have to defend his belt.

Can’t believe Bisping doesn’t just wait until the UK card to fight again - it’s not that long away. Maybe he was banking on the win bonus v GSP.

Conor just apologized of social media. Nate Diaz's coach says they're back in camp. Do we have something here?

Don't blame Pettis for tapping. I mean he knew he was going to get pummeled and had no chance of stopping it. The profuse bleeding was no help either.

I mean, I'll watch every fight in that tourney probably.

Bader should win though.

For sure. What happened was Ken Shamrock not available?

Apparently Rory Macdonald is an alternate, I really hope someone gets hurt. A prime WW/MW against washed up LHW/HW's would be interesting.

I have to pick Bader I guess. Mitrione and King Mo as possibles. The HW's are all way too past their prime to win this.
