Just saw Mike Perry's KO on Ellenberger and damn....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_WVwtoDuq0

Don't think I've seen a standing elbow KO like that before. Can't recall atleast

Anyone else think that the last few kicks Holtzman threw against McBride were unnecessary? McBride was clearly behind on points and it seemed pretty unsportsmanlike to kick him for the sheer pleasure of inflicting pain on an incapacitated opponent.

Rare but there are a few. Anderson on Fryklund of course, Henderson on Lombard (TKO more than KO), some Canadian guy on an undercard had a really nice one a couple years ago.

That Canadian guy is a friend of mine Nick Denis. I was at that fight. It was amazing!

They're trying to build up Cody.

That's the most action-filled main card OAT.

Probably the right move.

Not too surprising but somewhat interesting that Nunes isn't headlining PPV, obv was to be expected but still. Market correction for womens MMA.

Cody v TJ is the co-main for the time being, they're trying to get Nate v Ferguson for the interim belt.

lol Nate situation is funny. Knows that he isn't elite and there is a good chance he gets schooled but needs to somehow figure out a way to buy time so he can get the 3rd McGregor fight.

Nate's completely punch drunk and knows he'll be talking to shadows by 50. Why not make more money so you can pay for your healthcare? Not like AHCA is going to help him *hi-oh*.

He doesn't look like a materialistic person so IMO him pissing away money really isn't happening but I think he is too dumb to hire someone to manage his money.

He is playing it smart though, he probably gets beat by top guys at 155 and he wouldn't make squat fighting Ferg or anyone not name McGregor.

When I saw Alvarez is headlining the prelims I thought that's gotta be the biggest dropoff for a fighter in UFC history.

Going from main event @ MSG with McGregor to the prelims.

Faber made that something of a coveted slot.

Khabib was in that position a fight or two back.

The Superfight is off, Bisping to fight Romero in July per Dana

RIP Bisping

I heard Bisping a few days ago saying his knee (or something) is not recovering properly, and it's actually better to fight GSP in autumn. So yeah, he has an excuse to pull out of the Romero fight.

More likely he was stating that publicly to bait GSP into moving up the fight date.
