I'll be damned if the circus doesn't work though. I went from 100% salty boycotting it if it happens to arguably interested now, though that may be a function of how dumb the UFC has become in the meantime.

Kelvin Gastelum v Anderson Silva at UFC 212, oh my... what a horrible idea by Anderson

yeah really good move by Gastelum, not really a contender at 185 right now

just do main events vs legends and get paid

Way too early to be a professional fighter imo.

Was pretty shocked to see little kids in Thailand having Muay Thai prize fights when I visited. Pretty awful to watch.

It wasn't a pro bout, it was amateur championships.

How long does it take to get a title fight ?

Ngannou has wrecked everybody the last year, yet it looks like he'll still need at least 2 fights before getting a title match

He needs an impressive win or two first. Really hasn't beaten anybody.

Rothwell just got removed from the May card, maybe he can step in and face Werdum.

Dana White just told TMZ that even though Conor v Floyd is not good for the UFC, he'd let Conor get rich with that fight, but the T-Mobile Arena booking for June 10th has nothing to do with the UFC or the Floyd fight.

So I guess at this point is up to Conor to accept the money and just do the fight v Floyd asap. Makes no sense for him to fight the likes of Khabib, Nate or Tony for like 20% of the money he can make by getting whooped by Floyd.

It will make even less sense after he makes 50M+ against Floyd.
My guess is he retires after PBF and becomes a hollywood actor or something.

Well i always wish to all good fortune , so good for conor if it happen.
He did a great "Tulip Mania" job for himself in the fight business.

But seriously, lot of fish in the sea...
I just wish that fight comes and get done with that nonsense ( we all know McGregor will just get crush), so we can recap some truth competition in mma soon.
As in no more bs interim belt and not giving the best fighters the title shots...

Problem: WME is behind these problems. Conor is just the highest profile. If it's not him it'll be somebody else.

Sounds like the fight is gonna happen. Dana went from saying there is a better chance he backs up Brady in the superbowl to now saying he thinks it will happen.

looks like they finally realized Conor won't have much of MMA career either way so why not cash in a once-in-lifetime opportunity

next stop - wrestlemania

yep, said it a few months ago. he's too rich to keep on fighting in the UFC and Dana knows it

I doubt he is done fighting in the UFC.

But his O/U for fights left probably is like 2.5, especially if you don't include coming back when he is 35 y/o for a big payday.

He doesn't have anywhere else to go they have a monopoly. Even if he fights Floyd. That's it one and done. Then what? Retirement? It's ridiculous at this point. Just give him a % and be done with this circus, get their house in order the organisation is really going off the rails at the minute and they need to stem it before it bleeds out and they start to hemorrhage interest.

Hard to tell in that video if Conor is serious or not. He sounds kinda pissed like there is a hold up or something.

Yeah, it'll be hard to look away when it finally comes around. Just such a spectacle.

Isn't something I'm looking forward to seeing but I'll definitely watch it.

How's it any different from Mayweather vs Hatton or Mayweather Pac.
Plus there's a 0.0001% chance connor wins and boxing dies on the spot.
