What was the third round for Woodley and did the judge that scored it 47-47, score the final round 10-8? I just dont understand the scoring at all. Cant even call it a fix coz imo Wonderboy as champ is better for UFC coz he is prob a bigger draw.
Vegas cards still go by the old rules where they arent as liberal with the 10-8 rounds. Just a clown show by the judges.
Woodley looked like he knew he lost after the fight. They had Donaldson in the ring to give the belt to wonderboy. Everyone thought wonderboy won and the best he did out of the 3 scorecards was a draw lol.
Last round 10-8 for Woodley seems right. It's hard to know how judges are supposed to rule, but if this were boxing, a knockdown round is 10-8. It wasn't like it was a trip, slip, takedown, it was knocked down with serious threat of getting stopped.
I don't know. Not every fight can be a slobberknocker.
Not going to get worked up about the decision either way, the fight itself wasn't worth that type of emotional investment.
But what I don't get is people boooo'ng in the 1st round ..... not every card is going to have Nate vs Connor type of action ..... you have to be willing to "subsidize" those cards with some mediocre main events along the way.
That final round was never 10-8. Sure wit the new rules where they have more 10-8's you can make an arguement for it but this was under the old rules and that being a 10-8 is laugh out loud funny.
I feel for wonderboy, He has fought two 5 round fights vs Woodley and won 3 rounds in each fight and has nothing to show for it.
