It's not the speed they recover, it's if the ref sees them go limp / stiff and lose consciousness. If a fighter loses consciousness the ref will (or at least should) stop the fight regardless of how quickly they recover. Losing consciousness is quite different to being foggy but still knowing what's going on.

cliffs on why everyone apparently hates Jon Jones? saw he got booed at the weigh-in the other day, and they said that's totally standard for him these days, for whatever reason. wasn't really sure why.
also of note, apparently there was a little heat at the weigh-in between Schaub and Mitrione, who previously were friends or something. not sure what that's all about either, or how legitimate it is.
Gustafsson certainly has a chance. Weidman was basically given a "no-chance" as well. Not certain which Swede will show up, but Gustaf has some cardio, range and may be able to keep or even set the pace with JBJ. A couple of fights tonight were set off with a single hook and a "grazing" strike behind the ear, then quickly finished. Either fighter, if they daze or stagger the other, has the skills to finish quickly.
