Enrique ball isn't bad, haven't seen us press like that since Emery. Ugarte is the 6 we deserve, absolute beast. Kang-In pleases the eye, like there was never any doubt but still.

1002 passes, but lacked the cutting edge. Not sure who is going to score le goals if both Mbappe and Neymar yeet. Dembele/Asensio is a huuuuuge dropoff from said standard.

Ramos could get a few I guess - but I did not see him too much today.

There were a few slick moves, but few and far between. Skrinar is the man tho.

Mbappe is not leaving now when Messi left and Neymar is about to, those wages are going straight to him. More french players are joining, a striker, they're building a team revolving around him. The narrative that he's a huge mercenary always seemed weird to me, he wants the spotlight on him only at PSG.

It's mind boggling that a player of his calibre is willing to throw away his career in the 7th ranked league. I understand players like Reus or Kane for example, but literally every trophy he's winning at PSG bar the CL doesn't matter. He can't be taken seriously.

Yeah we lacked bite but all in all it was a pleasant surprised to dominate possession so hard and be on point with the gegen ****. Ramos was kinda alright for somebody who got through the door less than a week ago, if anything he moved like a 9 wich should be an improvement on it's own, if we can flank him with two of M'Bappé Dembouz and Kang-In he should have his BBQ chicken time.

That's how life works, you can't win an Oscar for a Hallmark movie. Can't be Mayweather if you're fighting only cans. Gotta play in the NBA if you wanna be Lebron. You can't be taken seriously if you're stat padding in the 7th league. not only that, but you're doing it while cheating.

I can understand PSG fans trying to make sense of it because it's the only thing they have, they'll never win the CL. But it's very weird behaviour. At least Neymar seems like a degenerate who loves to party, I can even understand that.

That's an argument for everyone playing in the PL though. Doesn't really matter if you're at Barca, Real or Bayern, you're playing in a second tier league. You can argue there's a big difference between La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A compared to third tier leagues like League 1 but if you want to make a point about people playing in the NBA of domestic soccer leagues that's clearly the Premier League.

yeah, but I wouldn't say it's clearly the EPL. the difference skill wise between the EPL and La Liga is pretty small imo.

I really don't care, he could go to whichever EPL or Serie A team, but wasting your prime in ligue 1 is beyond pathetic. And it's not like he's helping the league grow, it's the actual opposite.

staying is the correct life choice

upside

get paid
big fish tiny pond
score loads of goals
dont have to train that hard
no tiring defensive work required during games
whole team is built around you
refs/league will be on your side
dont have to learn another language
very little pressure or stress - you play four or so stressful games per year

downside

hundreds of millions of people* lose respect for you

*note that you will never interact with any of these so called people in any meaningful way during your life and you would not lose 1 microsecond of sleep if any or all of them died in their sleep tonight

In what world? 2/3 of PL teams would compete for the #4 spot in La Liga and half of La Liga wouldn't be favored to finish top 2 in the Championship.
