Sheesh, if Leon is an underdog against Colby I'm going to get some of that action. That's nuts.

I see Leon -150 on DK, which makes sense

Colby is a carbon copy of Usman and Leon just beat him 2x, I do think Colby's pressure is a little better/gas tank more relentless but seems like Leon can keep it standing. Colby can hang on the feet too though.

I didn't realize that Colby is only a couple months younger than Usman.

Both 35 to Leon's 31.

I've always thought that Colby got tagged a little too often, but got away with it through cardio and volume. Leon just seems way sharper. Other than an iffy points win now and again I struggle to see Colby having much luck there.

Then again, I bet on Gane to beat Jones

On my fave scenario of big upset then rematch, I finally hit one on Leon v. Usman. Now what to think of this three time rematch with the dog winning every one and continuing to be the dog ... I have no idea what to do. Gonna take about 1/3 unit on Pereira, I think.

Izzy's last stand

Really have no clue what happens here, I feel like Pereira had more room for improvement after the first fight. But also feel like Izzy did win 3/4 rds before he got his head taken off.

Former champs lose the immediate rematch for the most part

I think I will actually order this PPV. Last fight was a pretty exciting battle. And streaming can get pretty annoying when it cuts out. Or does anyone have one of those cool boxes where you can watch it for free?

So is there much or any precedence for with three straight wins being the dog AGAIN in combat sports?

DAZN has UFC PPV included in their monthly subscription in other parts of the world. Some people seem to have found a way to use that to their advantage.

Watched PFL for the first time last night. Couple entertaining things, couple very weird things, questionable level of competition, a bell that was 12 seconds late that nobody seemed to care about and then there's the sad story of Aspen Ladd.

Jorge needs to retire, he looked slow & heavy tonight.

Sick fight and big ko from Izzy, one mistake from either and it's lights out.

Pereira seemed to get a little overzealous, guess that can happen when you've KOd the guy twice

Post fight interview very much sounded like retirement.

Are we going to see Israel vs Alex 5 now? Kinda sucks for Whitaker and everyone else in the division. Really hope they do Khamzat vs Costa if Whitaker is going to sit out until he gets another shot.

Just saw one of the early prelim girls said after her win that her BF put a grand on her winning. Somebody might want to tell her what the rules are on that..

Izzy looked a good 25 lbs smaller. Thought pereira was in front and then Izzy smoked him.

yeah I thought it was looking bad for Izzy, pereira seemed like he was mixing it up really well

im fine with them having a UFC rubber match, theyre both pretty old, just do it now while its hot

not like anyone else at 185 deserves a title shot

costa couldnt even get rockhold out of there, chimaev never fights and has done nothing at 185, whittaker obviously not

definitely do it again sometime in late 2023

sounds like pereira is moving up to 205, dont really see him having a ton of success there, those guys are huge now

his physical presence/size was a big part of his edge

guess there isnt much incentive to doing a trilogy with pereira age and how tough it is for him to make the weight now

No idea about yesterday but in the past Pereira was around 220lbs on fight day. That's pretty much the same Blachowicz weights on fight day and actually more than Jiri back in the day when he fought in the Rizin heavyweight GP. I don't think Hill or Ankalaev are significantly above that?

If he's cutting 35lbs to get to 185 right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he bulks up a couple more pounds and fights around 230 at LHW. Pereira certainly wouldn't be a small LHW. Right now he's a crazy big MW. Even Costa only weights 210-215 on fight night.

Adesanya weighted in at 200 for his LHW fight so it's fair to assume that Alex was roughly 20 pounds heavier than him for both fights.

Interestingly enough, Blachowicz already said he'd like to give Izzy a rematch but this time for the 185 belt. I guess if Alex can cut all that weight, Jan thinks he can do the same thing?

As far as Pereira's potential success at LHW, there's a reason the UFC avoided giving him any fights against people with a ground game. Someone like Ankalaev would probably sit on him for 5 rounds.

Nice win by Holloway, he just gonna get a 3rd rematch with Volk eventually? That would be something but can't imagine it happens after the last 1. UFC gonna have to keep the other #1 contenders away from him.

Backing Pavlovich to beat Blaydes tomorrow. Really surprised that Pavlovich is the dog in the fight.

Yeah I was thinking the same. It has now come to my attention that people assume Blaydes is going to wrestle Pavlovich, tire him out and Ground&Pound him after round 1.

Personally no way I'm betting against Pavlovich. Him vs Ngannou would've been awesome

I don't see that happening. Pavlovich has good wrestling / ground game too from what i've seen. Apart from a dodgy judging decision I don't see a way for Blaydes to win.

Jared Gordon was going to win against Bobby Green and then gets taken out by a headbutt.
