I'm leaning pretty heavily twoards Stipe. They both have their nartatives of how the fights went but I tend to beleive Stipe. The first fight he was hit right on the button. He's taken shots way more powerful than that from a half dozen of the hardest hitters at heavyweight. I think that was either a perfectly placed shot or he was still hurt from the Francis fight, maybe both. The second fight DC was beating him with the mummy tactics of tying up Stipe's hands and dirty boxing. The pivot bodyshot was a beutiful weapon to take away one of DC's powerful strategies. Stipe took some big shots in the second fight and just never went away.

Maybe DC has more time to train for this fight and will have better wrestling and cardio but Stipe's durability and cardio seems like a bad matchup for DC.

Can DC take Stipe down and win a few rounds that way, thus shortening the overall length of the fight? Takes a lot of cardio to do so.

If it is largely standup like the last 2 then more I analyze it the more I see Stipe winning...

I listen to Helwani and DC every week, and kind of believe what DC says about the fight so tend to favour him. Gullible I know.

FWIW I like both guys but DC seems like such an awesome guy I'm pulling for him pretty hard.

I'm definetly a DC mark, but I still think Stipe is going to win.

GSP tactics would be to keep the striking close and then get the TD at the end of the round. This could be a cardio saver if DC can get an easy td and lay on top for the last min or so. I just don't see DC getting many easy td.

I did see on embedded that DC has a new treadmill for this fight that takes the weight off his back and knees. Improved cardio could make a huge difference.

The odds have DC as very slight favorite and I think they got it just right

I bet Stipe but by TKO/KO at +175, don't see him winning a decision much of the time

Also got Rozen +120 by TKO/KO as well

Im leaning Stipe atm. I was/am just so impressed with him in the last fight. Took alot of shots from DC then found a weakness and exploited it.

How hard does Francis hit? Looked like Junior hit Biggie Boy with a really good right and he just ate it like nothing. Small cage definetly cost Junior in that last exchange.
