Last Jones/DC PPV did more than the last Lesnar PPV (v Overeem). If you want to give Lesnar credit for UFC 200 sales then that's fine; personally, I think Jones/DC 3 would be really big. I don't know for a fact if it would be bigger than the next Lesnar headlined PPV.

So Jones isn't coming back until 2019 anyway, according to DW today at the presser. And DC insists he won't fight after March. Maybe they will do DC/Jones 3 at heavyweight in January, and the winner of that fight will face Brock in March?

I don't think DC wants to miss away the chance at a big payday by fighting JJ before Lesnar.

Not much hype around the fight it seems, from what i see. Obv connor is set for life but i think it will be really bad for his carreer if he loses this one after 2 years off.

Also why is ferguson fighting on that card? He was interim champ, alot to lose, nothing to gain in this fight for him. Great oppurtunity for pettis though, but i dont see him much chance.

One thing i know is ufc really dont want khabib and ferguson to win next week, they dont want to try to make that fight again lol

The hype is there for mma fans, the casuals are not necessarily eating it up due to the promotion of the fight but it may pickup come fight week next week. Ferguson is fighting because if somebody pulls out he can take their place & also feels the need to stay active considering the winner of Poirier vs Diaz in November who usurp him as #1 contendor.

^I used to listen to Sam Alvey's podcast but I got turned off when he said he's against a fighter's union because he plans on being champion and making as much money as Conor. Came across as both stupid and evil.

His move up to 205lbs is weird to me. I guess it shows that some people are just naturally not very lean...? You see it a lot in the women's divisions - some fighters have abs all the time, no problem, other's just can't get stay thin.

Barao looked decent for a round, pity he stopped every punch with his face for rest of fight and the main event was a bit of a war. Santos is a tough dude.
