Woodley vs Till is a fight i really want to see (if Till makes the weight cut). But the rest of the card for september 8 is pretty bad.

yeah i feel bad that dallas gets that card, woodley has always had mcrgegor or someone else high profile on the card to sell, gonna be a small total of ppv buys

Agree on 228 being weak. Outside of the main event im pretty interested in seeing Yair vs Zabit but dont know if thats enough to get me to pay for it. Both 228 and 229 would be in real trouble if the main event falls out.

Is the whole Usman on standby for 228 thing official. Will he cut weight for the weigh in to fill in if someone is over or is it just injury. Does the UFC pay him as if he is fighting so he can pay for his training camp and other expenses.

... aaaaand that one is canceled.

I can't remember a worse ppv than 228. Only the main event is good now, and the chances off that happening are pretty equal to Till not making weight.

Very interesting that he pulled out. He was cut for refusing to fight certain guys, then begged his way back, so they fed him to Zabit and he pulls out of the fight.

put a bet on Conor cause he's the underdog. However khabib wins this right? I would say 26-0 is a pretty good sample size. Conor is doing his mental game though and it seems to be working on Khabib. In the interview I watched Khabib talked about how he wants Conor so bad, already getting in Khabib's head. But I just don't see how Conor can last more than 2 rounds if he is being grappled to death on the ground. He avoided the ground as best he could in the Diaz fight but I think Khabib will get him down.

on paper, Khabib should win but it's obv not a foregone conclusion. Conor has a real chance but the longer the fight goes the smaller that chance is

Khabib grew up in the area that's basically one step down from an active war zone, seriously doubt that Conor's mental games will have a real effect on what is an incredibly simple gameplan

Yeah, I agree with that. I don't see Khabib standing with Conor the way he did with Iquinta (sp) the final few rds. Think he just got bored, knew the fight was over, wanted to prove a point he could stand.

Sure he knows he can't do that in that in this fight.

Tony is a madman coming back so fast after injury. It shows you how much having a strong mentality & determination makes you come back from injury fast & not lose a step. Ferguson coming back so quick makes me annoyed that the UFC booked Diaz vs Poirier more & more, Diaz doesn't deserve ish.

Diaz shouldn't even be fighting. Guy can barely speak anymore. Pretty obvious signs of brain damage related to getting into wars.

The last 2 wrestlers who couldnt box that Conor faced ended up getting knocked out in the 2nd round. That 2nd round KO prop looks pretty good.

I follow McGregor on social media and I liked him way better before I followed him. He seems like a total dork/attention whore IRL

Somewhat relieved seeing a Gaethje fight where he doesnt take a crazy amount of punishment.

Nice KO, but in the clip just before the fight.. Gaethje was really slurring his words and looked so bad. He already has some serious brain damage

I thought the same, but then he seemed pretty darn quick in the post-fight interview on the studio show.

I'd have to watch tape of him talking back in the day.

I think it might be a speech impediment rather than punch-drunkenness.

You'd think a guy with a wrestling background would you know...use it.
