Dio had a hernia surgery in the offseason and isn’t quite ready for 90 yet. Carlos Vela is unreal. LA is plastic from one (very public) angle, but look at it from many of the others and you’ll see something pretty special.
I started a chant about Diego Chara being a jerk early in this one. That second yellow created pandemonium in my section, even the few Timbers fans were laughing.

Hey, if poor little Manchester United can overturn a 0-2 on the road against a superior opponent, I suppose anyone can? eh, the goal for the MLSeros is probably to avoid getting Schalke'd tonight.
30 minutes from penalties, which NY will lose 90% of the time. but the pressure and the corners are starting to pile up, they've already hit the bar once.
MLS did extremely well last year, but it was an anomaly. Noone who knows both leagues really expects them to be that close, I'm still loling at the pre tourney odds.
Last I saw, MLS has about 25 guys on 20k+ per week compared to 150 for LigaMX. Hard to compete when you've only got 4-5 solid players and the 13th-15th guys on teams like Tigres and Monterrey are still really good.
I think Brek Shea was Vancouver's 2nd or 3rd highest paid player last year, so he's probably close to or near top 5 highest paid for ATL. That shows how dire it is when he's expected to be one of your top contributors.
