It shouldn't take a Guzan howler to be out of the USMNT setup. He shouldn't have been anywhere near the discussion for the past 3 years.

The most MLS thing ever. In fact this has been the most MLS opening weekend ever. 1 team kept a clean sheet the entire weekend. That team kept it against the defending champ. 2 (maybe 3 if LAFC gets one) home teams won. Bad teams won/drew, good teams lost/drew. Good to be back

I think he's knackered. Prob shouldn't be playing tonight along with a bunch of these other SKC dudes

must've been 2 years back... we lost so many games or drew so many by conceding last minute goals.

It's back lol

LA deserved the result

Hopefully Fontas didn't do a hammy, but it didn't look great. Seems like a monumentally idiotic decision by Vermes in hindsight. Even with a fresh squad it's tough to get any result at LAFC, now you've just made your squad suffer for nothing with a mid-week trip to Central America and back coming up.

Oh wait, SKC get to play the non-Mexican team right? Makes more sense to play a stronger lineup tonight

Yah, the only thing I can think of is that he's using a completely rotated squad mid-week. They only get 2 days rest, would be insane to play the same guys again.

Just got back home, lolSKC for so many reasons. Every one of those 7 yellows was deserved and they could’ve had more, right back committed a ridiculous foul on Rossi where advantage was played and the ref never went back to him.

Anyway that was fun! DIOOOOOOOOO

Yep, that would be me. Still a season ticket holder but didn’t bother dragging along my two young kids last night with the cold rain so watched from home.

Certainly DCU had the advantage of being better-rested and more accustomed to playing in crappy conditions, though I didn’t expect a clean sheet given their defensive woes last year. The Canouse and Moreno defensive midfield continues to do wonders, though I do think Jara looks like a keeper at RB.

First game tonight is on UDN, 2nd game is streaming only through Yahoo and Univision Deportes.

New York is odds on, I know Santos had some weather related travel issues and are coming off a heavy loss in the league.

Santos dangerous so far, but Kaku creating plenty as well. Royer finishing still garbage.

welp. letting Furch run free in the box seems like a bad idea. This tie is over.

choppy game in chilly Houston. ref calling lots of fouls for both teams, not letting Tigres superior talent get into rhythm. seems to have forgotten his cards though.

Going for the Independiente-ATL UTD double at 15-1.

Bit surprised at the Ind. line. Yah they probably suck, but the results vs. TFC have to be worth something, and SKC's squad has to be basically dead.

ATL is getting a huge price, but this is more a play banking on MTY continuing to look like complete AIDS in this competition. Tempted to bet the MTY 2-0 result to mirror Santos and Tigres.

Vermes going for it..."it" being the full squad rotation in the 1st leg of the QF.

Independiente has already shown they are not to be trifled with, of course. There is still plenty of talent for SKC here to get a result.

both games on UDN
