Show me one instance where the home team wears the away teams home color kit in the EPL or any other league in the world. Sorry I dont know Gustav Svennson from Magnus Eriksson

Yeah definitely gonna fly back for the LAFC@MNUFC game. I grew up a couple miles down Snelling.

Yah, could never fully jump off the Zlatan bandwagon, but I'm all in on Vela. Just seems like he's way too good for the league and really hoping he breaks Josef's record.

I can’t overstate how good Atuesta and Kaye have been, and how that has given Vela the freedom to dominate the way he has. Team is firing on all cylinders right now.

it will have a club structure rather than franchise, like MLS. so long-term they're hoping to have 2-3 divisions and pro/rel.

would be cool to have something more organic & supporter-oriented to push MLS, and develop players in this country. we've never really had a league before ... hoping it doesn't go up in flames quick.

so this started today btw
1st game in the books: Toronto 1 @ 1 Hamilton
quality was better than i expected
really hope this league succeeds, would help MLS, and more importantly the Canadian NT

only 7 teams for year 1, but expansion should come fast and furious
especially since they couldn't get Vancouver or Montreal sorted in time

(Pozuelo p good too huh)

Kaye's seemingly instant recovery from that gruesome injury is very impressive

and related to the CanPL, i didn't realize he was cut from TFC II only a couple years
this new league should help prevent a lot of talented players from slipping through the cracks
( there were some good ones out there today, and Canadian ones! )

It was all of like 3 weeks ago I thought SKC were maybe a top 3 team in the league now I’m not sure they will make the playoffs. Injured and look like trash

It's the curse of beating the Impact 7-1. SKC have no wins in 4 matches since (unless they come back tonight) and the Impact have done quite well since then even without Nacho and other key injuries.

Not sure if cruizn reads this thread at all, but if you see this, curious on your opinion.

Tickets for the CCL final at Estadio BBVA Bancomer never went on public sale b/c season ticket holders bought them all up. Now the minimum ticket on StubHub is listed at 4k pesos (~$210). I was hoping to grab a ticket for $50-60, but doesn't look like that's happening. Do you think they might go down in price closer to kickoff (Wed. night) or is that unlikely for a final of this magnitude?

Can’t believe they didn’t review and take back that red for Roldan. That’s a bad call, shoulda just been two yellows. Hate to see that change the complexion of the game so much.

LMAO, Christian Ramirez just put it OVER a wide open net from 2 meters away. They'd be better with Dom Oduro out there.

I didn't catch the game live, but saw the score was 4-4 in the 86th minute on the ticker, so I watched the replay later.

Not an inspired touch by SKC the entire game.

lol Vermes

We brought in a cat from Rwanda. His family was impacted by the genocide there years back, bless his heart. His only professional experience is in the domestic league of his home country, which they said during the broadcast is hardly a pro league. He'll fit right in at City.

hey, sorry for responding so late. i saw this yesterday but didn't have time to respond. I have a friend who has a ton of connections to ticket scalpers out there and I asked him to look into it for me how much the cheapest ticket is currently out there. I should receive a response from him soon.

i never looked at the ticket prices myself for this match, but i was assuming it'd definitely be over 4k pesos. i dont think you're going to be able to find anything for less than $150. but thats just my opinion and i dont know much. last 2 liga mx games i went to was chivas vs america (3.3k pesos) and the toluca santos final (3.1k pesos). a monterrey vs tigres final for an international trophy sounds like it'd be way more expensive than the two games i last went to.

i'll make sure to update the thread when i hear word from my friend.
