some of the attempted passes in this league are so beyond horrible, all in attendance should get a refund for having to witness them

Finally looked like the LAFC team they can be. Ramirez up top is awesome, it’ll be interesting to see if Bob plays him and Dio together at some point.

Also VERY happy with the Danilo Silva signing. We now have 5.5 defenders I trust.

Raitala goal of the week last week, Lovitz this week? And Sagna will definitely get it next week. It will surely be the first time in soccer history that 3 fullbacks from the same team win goal of the week in consecutive weeks.

Classic Oduro. Gets in for the last 10 minutes, has 1 touch, a fairly easy pass to the wing to spring a counter, and he way overhits it to touch. Never change Dom.

LOLESPN must be thrilled that the LAGalaxy literally had no one of interest playing today

I am in NY until saturday and would like to see a game of the soccer*. I believe theres a ny - ny game on wednesday so im guessing that its played in ny? How would I go about attending it?

No idea about the prices and I can probably afford good seats but I'm not very picky. Would not mind tagging along with some 2+2er (if only en route to the stadium or for a beer afterwards) if anyone is up for that!

*And possibly other sports but i dont know where to start, i saw that sf giants are playing the ny mets like 3 times this week how does that even work and let me be completely frank do they play baseball or american football

NYCFC v. NYRB Tickets

You can buy tickets there. Looks like $35 will get you into the stadium. It's at Yankee Stadium, which isn't an actual soccer stadium, so the viewing angles are probably weird and the pitch seems tiny.

Mets v. Giants Tickets

It's baseball game. There are so many during a season that it's standard to play 3 or 4 games in consecutive days. You can see the Mets on Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thu since they're hosting the Giants for 4 games.

yeah, unless i'm mistaken there aren't any ticketing restrictions over here

so Ticketmaster, or whatever secondary market you prefer
???
profit

NYCFC v NYRB a pretty good one to catch
2 of the better teams in the league, and a derby of course
starring David Villa vs Bradley Wright-Phillips, the latter being one of the most accomplished strikers in league history actually
atmosphere might be tame mid-week though

NYCFC also have a young Paraguayan, Jesus Medina, for whom Ligue 1 team Nice just offered 7 million.

if you're Atl, how big an offer does it take to get Martinez this winter?

also, there were rumours that some english teams were offering 3-4m for Zack Steffan, Cbus should probably try to unload him after this season

decent goal

it's actually kind of weird that Atlanta doesn't score about 5 every game

I'd think Atlanta would take $15m for Martinez.

We aren't going to keep getting strong young CONMEBOL players if we do not let them also have the opportunity to go to UEFA clubs.

martinez has already played over there though. the main question is if he even wants to go.

dude just loves scoring goals. unless theres a big salary raise he doesnt seem like he'd want to score 10 a season for some midtable club in complete obscurity

true, but maybe he thinks he's turned a corner in development and wants another shot. The bigger point is its up to him.

Back with another touristy question about NY, are there any places that would show the UCL qualifier Ajax - Kiev wednesday (at I think 3pm )? Or that could, assuming I would have to ask for it myself even if they have access to it.

Unkel reffing and Geiger on VAR, was pretty much a guarantee something ridiculous would happen.

I had great fun. Had no idea there would be any sort of atmosphere but it was pretty good. Crazy 9v11 game helped, of course
