This Impact team seems so terrible, I didn't even care that much that I missed the season opener. Any slight hope went down with Diallo's injury, now the defense will be in shambles most of the season. Piatti is fun to watch every now and then, but most smart teams just know once they neutralize him, the whole offense is stifled. They started a goddamn rookie 3rd round draft pick for ****'s sake. I think the league has passed Saputo by. Doesn't seem to be willing to open the pocket book at all and bring in the 1 or 2 additional difference makers needed to be competitive.

Once this season is a disaster we can probably count on him bringing in a 55-year old former superstar striker to fire up the fan base though. What's Gabriel Batistuta up to?

Concacaf usually gives preference to league champions, that's why Tigres and Chivas host 2nd leg for this round. But then Seattle should also be hosting a 2nd leg too, so I can't figure it out exactly.

Edit to add: semis and final hosting order will be determined by better results in the earlier rounds, but the bracket is preset.
