I love how like 95% of his passes are backwards, on like the bestest MLS oat

He assisted on like 2 of their billion goals last year, it's amazing

But probably my fav thing is how like 20 times per game he panics and slams a bounce-pass into the feet of a teammate in less space than himself

Dat $6.5MM per year poise & leadership

His awareness also seems borked

So often he gets the ball in acres of space, but he doesn't trust it and starts running in circles for no reason
And then by the time he figures out what's happening someone is on him, so he boots the ball away
(or sideways, or backwards)

Kind of infuriating they have him instead of a legit $10MM fee + $6.5MM/year salary CM

At least they're better than the Canucks (I think). Not that the situation in Montreal is any better on those fronts. Although the latest rumor is Fernando Torres is coming to town, which would be quite the shakeup.
