Next week in Toluca should be fun, I'm for sure going now, should be wide open with Toluca going all out.

It will be super disappointing if ATL go out right away.

The time to take them was always gonna be next week. SKC hasn't prepared for the altitude at all AFAICT and Liga MX teams have the weekend off after the next CCL matches so they don't have to worry much about resting players.

Tough to be that excited as an Impact fan when you've been linked to some pretty solid strikers from Ligue 1 for about a year then your big move ends up being Max Urruti. Guess they're just gonna waste Piatti's likely final season. I look forward to being a fringe playoff team again. At least they might be better than TFC.

They should sell out Kennesaw right? What kind of crowd do you think theyd get at Mercedes Benz? Being down 3-1 has to actually increase interest

I'd say they can easily do it. Just need a 2-0. It would be a shame if we didn't get to see ATL-MTY at Merc-Benz.

Toluca have canned their manager just days before the SKC return leg. Now I have no idea what to expect, but should be fun to watch. Headed to Toluca in a couple days to see the match.

I at least made my money back from their CCL debacle by betting Santos Laguna over the weekend What a beating

Didn't see it, but it's rumored a couple players were mailing it in to get him fired, the goalie among them.

we got a 2019 thread going yet?

i just put down some on 5dimes on ATL to lift MLS Cup at +600. exact same bet hit for me this year, let's keep it goin.

on bet365.com they had CONCACAF futures odds up, and ATL was still +800 to win it all even after going down 3-1 in 1st leg.

Lines out for tonight on BetOnline:

Houston and Toronto both roughly -1.75-110
Tigres a bit larger favorite at -2

Bit surprised Toronto is so low. They're playing a crap side who is gonna be miserable in the cold weather. Of course TFC lost the 1st leg 4-0 so who knows, and if Jozy is out and they're starting Boyd and that Griffin kid up top again then they'll probably blow a million chances.

ya new thread can probably start whenever someone wants to make it

tfc have apparently signed a Spanish attacking mid called Alejandro Pozuelo
also supposedly in on Ricardo Quaresma, which means they could be ... interesting

Quaresma one time please. Knowing him he'll have a couple utterly insane matches and then disappear for months on end.

Looks like no US tv tonight thanks to Copa MX, only streaming through Univision Deportes and Yahoo! Sports.

8 PM
Houston (1) vs Guastatoya (0)
Toronto (0) vs Independiente (4)

10 PM
Tigres (0) vs Saprissa (1)

Concacaf Fever!

Is Yahoo Sports a pay service?

I'm on Houston -1.5 and Tigres -2. Just couldn't bring myself to back Michael Bradley captain'd Toronto even though I have no idea what just put 4 past them.

No, it's free:

Pitch is terrible, but for the middle of winter and 17 degrees? probably as good as possible, just lots of sand it looks like.

Houston game delayed for lightning.

Early goal!

which reminds me, Montreal played its CCL games indoors at the big O. Is Rogers Centre unavailable?

honestly getting knocked out of ccl probably the best for them

Shots 28-6 and tied 1-1. How does TFC not have anyone capable of finishing?

Tigres were definitely on the take that first game. They are absolutely pounding this team
