They're still doing games, dunno if they're still dictating schedule. Mostly Sat-Sun.

I don't remember univision doing many mls games in the past (?)

they definitely do liga mx games - double headers on saturday nights and usually a sunday morning game

I think we're conflating Univision and UniMas.

VWFC might just be the most unintentionally funny team in the league

the same company owns both. they shift the best games to univision, otherwise they play on unimas. Seems like they aren't interested in fridays anymore; they've mostly done Saturday afternoon games this year as a lead in to their Liga MX games.

Liga MX is now in the playoffs and won't have a regular schedule until after the world cup, so they may change it back up.

Really was a joke. Looking forward to dominating this 'rivalry' for years to come

Second time that’s happened to Miller this year, pretty rough.

latest rumours:

- Fernando Torres to Chicago or Montreal?
- Canadian international Lucas Cavallini to Montreal?
- Keisuke Honda to Chicago?
- Omar Gonzalez back to LAG?
- Kekuta Manneh back to CBus?
- 21yo Colombian Tigres forward Julian Quinones to Seattle?
- Tigres forward Enner Valencia to ??? (he's apparently looking for an MLS team)
- nobody to VWFC

on the bright side, they just equalized vs. SJ

US Open Cup 2nite, like 100 games

LV Lites picked a terrible night to have their first US Open Cup game at home lol. but winning!

other notable results, GOAT US Open Cup team FC Cincy wins in AET

ya VWFC are the masters of pulling come-from-behind draws out of the fire at home against teams below them in the standings

should be fun when they sell their best player (Kendall Waston) after the World Cup and 2nd best player / best ever prospect by 10 miles (Alphonso Davies) after the season and replace them with career MLS jobbers

like hey, is Wondo available?

related - this is the team's 2nd highest paid player, and 1 of 2 designated players:

he's started 3 games this year
(he hasn't been injured)

doesn't make much sense to me (for either party really), even if you are selling Martinez or Almiron

and he still has 2 years left on his contract, so you'd have to spend a bunch of money buying him presumably

buying another similar prospect seems way preferable to a 32yo poacher

related: decided to look up which players are out of contract this summer and as such might could be MLS targets

Yaya Toure (35) - he's awesome, but is kinda washed and would be super expensive, would probably be the next Lampard/Gerrard/Pirlo is he turned up here
Hatem Ben Arfa (31) - highly doubt he'd move from PSG to MLS, but he'd be awesome here
André-Pierre Gignac (32) - willing to move from Mexico to MLS? yes plz
Yohan Cabaye (32) - could probably still boss the midfield over here, could be the right time for him to come over here, maybe Rémi Garde should get in touch
Sung-yong Ki (29) - see above, but he'll probably do enough during the World Cup to get a contract in Europe somewhere
Pontus Wernbloom (31) - not familiar with him, but he's a CM that transfermarkt says is worth like $7MM today, and given that he's currently in Russia, he seems willing to play in non-traditional leagues, maybe LAG should call him up
Perparim Hetemaj - see above, except Finnish, and playing in Italy
Robert Huth (33) - EPL champion CB not too long ago, i assume he can still hang in this league
Claudio Yacob (30) - could still have a little something left in those legs

also Fernando Torres & Keisuke Honda, who have already been linked to MLS
