It's based on performance in previous rounds. América has had the benefit of smashing 2 weak clubs so will likely host the 2nd match in the finals if they advance.

Love some MLS plays tomorrow. Someone talk me out of these:

Houston pk +120 -- I'm pretty sure they stunk on the road last year, so I think I like this one the least. Still DC are awful

Chicago pk -115 -- Again a road team but Chicago decent and coming off a brutal loss. Minnesota terrible and coming off a win plus no Molino

Toronto pk -125 -- Another road team which is never a good look, but another case of Toronto being so so so so so so much better than Montreal. Unless they completely rotate after the Mexico trip this should be a romp. Prob wait til lineups come out, but think they at worst draw Montreal either way

ATL -1 -115 -- ATL at home against inferior opposition seems like it should be played every single time. Lock of the week imo

Betting on any road team pickem is terrible. I wouldn't take worse than +250 on the Fire.

Home field advantage seems to be much less of a thing in MLS than any other league. I'm rolling with all those, except TFC until I see a lineup.

I noticed teams with good strikers on the counter attack tend to be great value at teaser lines on the road. Eg. bet them -1.5 as underdogs because if they're winning by 1 late they often extend the lead.

laying money to win is lighting money on fire in MLS, especially early in the season. teams aren't consistent year to year like u might see in some euro leagues.

PK games are great for playing the draw on a 3-way bet...from my experience. unless u know team A is a lot better than team B and the line is bad.

Was thinking about backing the Impact, but it looks like Garde is still tinkering with the lineup. Seems like a bunch of guys are being played out of position. Using Vargas up top instead of Jackson-Hamel (Mancosu is out). Fanni making his début, still starting a 3rd round rookie. Don't really like it, but we'll see. Also, Toronto doesn't appear to be rotating much at all.

New stadium won't be ready til July. They frontloaded the schedule with most of their road games, but couldn't avoid fitting in a couple of early home games. Hello, Maryland soccer park.
