if Leicester City can make the UEFA CL quarters, i'm convinced that TIGRES can too. soooooooo much quality everywhere.

also PSA: you can still get them to win the league at 8/1 on Bovada. not as good as my 12/1 but still so +++EV.

Did VWFC generate anything at all? 1:30 highlight video only showed the OG and 5 Tigres shots.

Seeing these MLS results vs. LigaMX lately kinda shows how utterly insane it was for that Impact team (which wasn't even that good) to get draws on Mexican soil at both Pachuca and America (really that was a win, but refs) a few years ago.

Pachuca might have just shaded that half but 1-1 is ok for both sides and the neutral. Let's see if Dallas can keep both the pressure on as well as their work rate and composure.

This is from Nov 2014, there might be something more recent. Also, it's the daily mail, but these numbers sound reasonable.

Of course, big clubs like Tigres and Club America will probably be at least double average. Pachuca is probably 2nd tier, average to maybe slightly above.

Pachuca had their chances tonight, definitely could have used Chucky Lozano.

And while we're on the topic of salaries, MLS Analyst has a good rundown of 2017 budget and salary cap info:

Quote:
Given what we know (and a little of what we suspect), here's what we're looking at for the total, non-DP salary budget for 2017:

Salary Cap: $3,845,000
Supplemental Roster: $65,000 x 4 = $260,000
Reserve Roster: $53,000 x 6 = $318,000
Homegrown subsidy: $125,000
TAM: $1,200,000
GAM: $200,000

Total baseline MLS salary budget per team, 2017:*$5,948,000.

^ How much do the top 10 players in LigaMX and Argentina make?

I'm presuming guys like Gignac aren't really attainable (especially with transfer fee) but Argentina seems prime to keep getting raided .... this has already been happening to some extent but I can see a future where every team in MLS has at least 1 attacker from Argentina

^ I'm going to guess there are a lot of players in Mexico and Argentina getting paid $2-$3 million and that makes them a tricky DP signing in MLS

Atlanta United picked up Bryan Rochez off waivers for the minimum salary late last night. Low risk, high reward move, but dude was lazy as **** in Orlando and they were willing to pay him his salary to play somewhere else so we'll see how it turns out. At least it's a warm body who can, theoretically, score goals while Martinez and Jones are off for international duty.

I highly doubt the Greek league is still above MLS. China also obviously way higher up that list now. A lot changes in 3 years
