Impact going pretty conservative. 5 man back line, 3 D mids, no striker, only Bojan and Quioto for attacking players.

Urruti, AJH, Ballou, Taider all left on the bench as attacking options.

Luis Binks will be making his debut. He was Tottenham's #2 CB prospect, it will be interesting to see how he looks.

Tigres already have 3 against our old friends, Alianza from El Salvador. If you remember LFC, they gave us headaches b/c Rayados couldn't put the ball in the net vs. them. Luckily the Nuevo León cartel must have lost a lot of power since last year and have allowed Tigres to annihilate them.

Holy ****, this Tigres match is insane. Alianza have come up with 2 goals on set pieces and are now going through w/4-4 agg. and more away goals.

They couldn't score in 2 matches vs. Rayados last season but somehow have put 4 past Tigres in 140 minutes lol.

Edit: Damn, big save to rob Shome wide open in the enter of the box.

Last year they looked inept on offense like they wouldn't score in 5 matches, but their backline was pretty well organized. This year they look like a mess on defense but are capitalizing well on offensive chances. Weird for a team to change so much in a year.

man, comunicaciones has gone full ****** after going up 1-0. really dum obvious fouls to let CA back into this. if they win this somehow it will be a miracle.

that impact match was boring as heck, but I guess they'll take it.

and when I see a liga mx team score at 90+4 to win their matchup, have to assume riggage unless proven otherwise.

Comunicaciones is insane man, love this team. They can get to penalties if the score holds, but they're pushing 6 into the attack, down a man, at Azteca. Win or lose it's an insanely ballsy performance.

Agree with 702 though that their tactics have been super lol, but fun for a neutral. 99% of coaches would have been in full bus mode for the last half hour.

I was paying attention more to Impact obv, but some are saying the foul that led to the goal scoring free kick wasn't a foul. Hoping to get another look.

Damn, Tigres and CA on the ropes against teams from El Salvador and Guatemala and survive. At least the ATL/América match is still on I guess.

This tournament is nuts, always seems to deliver.

Hopefully León/LAFC tomorrow produces some excitement.

Impact are the kings of the away goal.

4 CCL series since joining MLS.

They lost 1.

They "won" 3. All were aggregate ties w/the Impact advancing on away goals, each time they scored 2 away.
