DC surprisingly played them even until Birdbomb's red. Bale and Chiellini were listed out due to "load management" lol. I wonder if Bale will be a starter eventually or just a super sub.

They are already way better than everyone even without Bale, Chiellini, and new DP Bouanga. Will they finally ship MLS Cup, or will the variance superfest tourney get them.

whitecaps hosting colorado with probably their best lineup this year, and maybe ever
(they could still use an lcb & an lwb)

cavallini, gauld, schopf, gressel, cubas, ranko, blackmon etc all start
and their #1 keeper thomas hasal back in net for the 1st time since may

so they're def gonna lose like 2-4

I think Insigne will do a ton of damage in this league. Maybe even a Giovinco type 22g 13a season if he plays enough next year. Akinola's kinda disappeared though, and I don't know if Jesus Jimenez is that guy. Kind of a waste to have Insigne and Bernadeschi and no 9 to finish all those chances.

Speaking of this, TFC have now gone 10 matches without a goal from a #9. Pretty wild with all the offense they generate.

Siebatcheu is the USMNT 9, but Ggergg is a moron and hates him for some reason. 27 goals last year in the Swiss League, including in Champs League vs. Man U and Atalanta. Already off to a good start this year with Union Berlin in the Bundesliga with 2 goals.

Ferreira has scored a bunch of goals with his actual feet and seems to be good at pressing, which they are pretty hell bent on mattering. Pepi isn't in the picture. I would bring Ferreria and Pefok, and whoever looks the best in the next window.

Liga MX been off my radar for a while. Just had a look at some betting odds tonight. T5th place Necaxa is barely favorites (+170) at home to 2nd to last place Chivas (+188). I've watched zero Liga MX games. What am i missing? Or is it classic Liga MX riggage?

I'm in the nut low timezone for MLS and Liga MX stuff, so I haven't paid much attention. With MLS I just watch the 8 minute highlight package for every Montreal match and a few other interesting matches.

Necaxa is usually terrible, so the line is clearly based more on long-term trends than anything else. In terms of market values of the rosters, Chivas' is 4th highest in the league compared to 3rd lowest for Necaxa, and Chivas' group is worth more than double Necaxa's. A pretty crude way of looking at things, but gives an idea about the line.

Anyway, sounds like there probably is some value with Necaxa b/c you have to weigh recent form pretty heavily.
