braves have the most loaded farm by far.

yankees are pretty loaded.

padres, white sox, rockies, brewers, phillies.

lots of teams are looooooaded.

I wonder if these farm systems will lead to shorter contracts for veteran players knowing what's waiting in the wings.

It's usually balanced out by the teams with ****ty farms trying to remain competitive

like the blue jays and their 177M payroll, and being the oldest team in the league.

Baseball America just released its new top 100 list and it included six Jays. Try again.

Better than the Angels - one playoff appearance this decade in which they got swept in the division series, high payroll, not looking any better this year and no players on the list.

Trout though?

....

the blue jays MLB roster is the oldest roster in MLB, literally #1.

not sure what i'm supposed try again exactly.

regardless of our 6 players in top 100 status, jays do not have a deep farm and would not be in the top half of the farm rankings.

I think he meant baseball America should try again because surely the trash jays don't have 6 of the top 100

The no-hitter pool is about full. If you were intending to join but haven't done so yet, do it soon or you'll be left out.

4 of their last 5 1st-round picks are in the starting lineup today (2011-Baez, 2012-Almora, 2014-Schwarber, 2015-Happ). The 5th is the reigning NL MVP, Bryant out due to illness. That's a pretty decent success rate.

Lester about two feet short from. A two run jack to dead center.

Absolutely gutted for Lester that didn't get out. Still, can't complain smacking an RBI double off the Cardinals best pitcher when you're someone who started their career 0-66

Lester's ****ing worthless.

You really have to be a mental midget to get caught in a rundown by Lester leading off 1st. Just add a step or two to your lead and take your chances. You don't have to cheat and guess if he's stepping off or not. Goddamn.

What a terrible rule. Confused on if the run counts though?

Edit- obviously doesn't but why did ump make safe gesture towards home after calling 2nd and 1st out?

doesn't count, it's as if they turned the DP. not that they would have even if he didn't slide past the bag

Yeah I got that, what was the safe gesture towards home after the review?

didn't see that, probably just dumb ump. that doesn't make much sense

Cubs broadcast clarified, ump was "waving off run" with the safe gesture. Dumb ump confirmed

Berrios dealing, looking a lot more efficient this time around

play interrupted due to a squirrel on the field for over a minute now, lmao. Twins feed is just showing it running around. Good stuff
