But their schedule is pretty weak. I wish they had more games against good opponents before their playoff series tbh.
They are also probably going to do stuff like have guys skip starts to line up their playoff rotation. They have soft clinched the division and home field isn't super important in baseball.

Stupid ****face Selig pulled the same **** in 08 when the Astros were actually competing and moved a cubs series to Milwaukee, when Tamba was available. Zambrano threw a no hitter first game.

**** Selig and what you think he did for the game, a god damn monkey could have done the same.

lol, I immediately thought there will be people that will completely misinterpret that sign.

Sign makes sense, Americans for a long time weren't the best at baseball or racism, but have always been thought of first when it comes to either.

My favorite part of the sign, is that it was ambiguous enough to trigger everybody.

I think Arizona is making it out of the NL. They are gonna play the wild card vs Colorado which will be a joke of a game. Then they get to play the Lol Angeles Dodgers, which they should sweep, and then the Harper-less Nats. Could be the easiest road ever to the WS.

Cubs put up 17 in a game Schwarber goes 0-4 with 3 Ks lol.

Eddy: Facing the top two NL mvp candidates, and a revitalized CarGo will be a breeze. Just like what has happened this series. Makes sense. Why don't you give me more of your money on your ridiculous analysis?

Well they sure have had lots of opportunities. He must have at least 10 games this season with 0 for 4 or more with 3 or more ks.

Schwarber also went 3/3 + a walk the night prior. He is .258/.352/.566 with a +136 WRC and 14 HRs since he came back from AAA. Easy to cherry pick a bad game when he's made a huge turnaround. Expect no less from the cubs favorite troll

I looked up the nl stats for the first time in a while. I may have been wrong with top two. I will bet on my original idea that Rockies win the wild card game. Your 80 to my 50. It's still a bet if the Rockies don't make playoffs.

Monster Seats are expensive so I think they must have just gone up there on break. No idea how they got the thing into game? it must have said something nice on the other side.

He has 18 games this season with 3 or more strikeouts.

9 of those are since end of July

He has a hit in only 8 of those games, only 2 games with 2 hits.

He also has this shameful game where he was 0-4 with 4 strikeouts the game prior and was 0-3 with 3 strikeouts during this game where his yellow bellied manager pulled him before his 4th at bat because he didn't want back to back golden sombreros. His replacement got two more at bats, so he likely would have struck out 5 times in that game.

And yet he's still hitting 36% better than league average in the 2nd half.. How quickly everyone forgets the guy hasn't even played a full year. His bad games spiral out of hand quickly. The older he gets the less those will happen.

At least Schwarber has his defense and speed to fall back on. He'll be a mainstay in the NL for years to come.
