It's true, it was like 18,500. Cleveland has always been a football town. Tribe sellout streak happened when the Browns were gone. Probably a combo of Sunday hangovers and MNF if I had to guess. Hoping they get a bigger turnout tonight for #20 with Kluber on the mound.

I don't get it man, I really don't. The stadium couldn't be better located, downtown Cleveland has grown a ton, the team is electric, went to the WS last year, on a massive win streak, and Ohio prides itself so much on its sports fandom. 18.5k is a joke.

2018 schedule partially released. Errbody plays opening day. No word if everyone ******edly takes the next day off. Cubs and Cards only teams to play thurs after all star. A couple teams nobody gives a **** about play a 2 game set in Puerto Rico.
Season starts a few days earlier more off days.

Giancarlo has a chance to win his league HR crown by 20. Last guy to do that was Mantle. I would love to see him make a run at 62 and be crowned legit HR champ.

So a guy that hits 62 homeruns is somehow going to be considered the "legit HR champ" because you want him to be? It doesn't work like that. You can call him that right now if you want, doesn't make it so.

When he hits more than Bonds he can have that title. Till then, just another nice season.

Regardless of what you think the record is, 60 HR is a pretty crazy benchmark. 73 is the record, but it is noteworthy that Stanton would be the first modern player to do it with no obvious links to cheating.

The eight more games is a legit argument Aaron had 3200 more at bats than Ruth that's another legit argument.
