how cool is this game going to be tomorrow night? In Williamsport, which will be full of little leaguers. On one of the oldest Minor league fields with only 2,400 seats. Going to be a pretty cool game to watch.

I live in Williamsport, born and raised as well. Really excited about a Major League game happening at Bowman Field. I've watched so many games there and played on it as a kid.

Kind of hoping it doesn't become a regular thing though, because the area can't handle the LLWS getting much bigger than it already is.

I think it'd be awesome to go to a game like this where there's basically no crowd. As a player that's got to be an almost haunting feeling, going from 30k to 3k you're going to hear everything.

This is great for baseball and something they need to be doing every year from here on out. They should also think about trying to do this in places other than Williamsport-bring in the local little leagues and let them fill the ball park, even if it's only a half dozen games a year. Teams can give up 1 one home game every 5 years

I mean as far as the amount of visitors we get into town for it. We just don't have the infrastructure in place to handle all of the traffic and people that come in. It's great for the restaurants and other businesses, so from that side I'm glad it's gotten so big.

lol how can MLB umps complain about verbal attacks. Compare them to NFL officials who just have to be bitches and take whatever verbal abuse comes their way, NFL refs do nothing about it. MLB umps at least run guys who verbally abuse them.
