I didn't know steroids helped you stop swinging at every single pitch. Thames has always been enormous and has always had really nice bat speed, he just got a bit long with his swing and couldn't lay off high heat or breaking balls/offspeed low. Seems like Korea helped him at least lay off low junk and get more compact.

Yeah went to a White Sox game a few years ago actually, from memory they got absolutely blown out by the Twins. Went to Fenway as well but Red Sox were on an away trip when I was there sadly

I'd highly recommend squeezing in a AA or A+ league game if you can swing it

Can be very different from AAA, in a good way
