As an Astros fan, I can confirm Rasmus to be a freak and a very weird dude.

Cubs and White Sox get a thumbs up, although I don't think Quintana is a 1,2, or 3 in the DS this season and if he is your team isn't making it to the WS.

i mean come on,
1) Lester
2) Quintana
3) Hendricks
4) Arrieta

wins the world series again a large % of the time.

don't care much about prospects at this point. we got our guys already.
How large of a %?

The news section of the at bat app is all fluff garbage. Zero mention of Rasmus.

By fWAR, in order, these guys are ranked:

37th
24th
152nd
62nd

What a murderers' row!

By contrast, let's look at a random good team like the Nationals:

Scherzer - 2nd
Strasburg - 10th
Gonzalez - 45th
Roark - 104th

I mean come on my Cubbies are only 2 games under .500 at the all-star break. How could acquiring a guy with a 4.5 era not put them in the WS?

Dodgers:

Kershaw - 3rd
Wood - 6th
McCarthy - 19th
Maeda - 76th

The Dodgers have THREE starting pitchers who have outperformed every single Cubs pitcher (including Quintana).

Diamondbacks:

Greinke - 7th
Ray - 22nd
Godley - 32nd
Taijuan Walker - 57th
bonus: Corbin - 59th

Cardinals (a BAD team):

Martinez - 20th
Wainwright - 36th
Wacha - 38th
Leake - 43rd

Yeah, but those teams don't have Schwarber.

True, hard to replace a career 106 wRC+ defensive liability.

In single-A action, the White Sox beat the Cubs 3-2 tonight on a 2-run single by Eloy Jimenez. This trade is already a disaster.

Houston is a little weird because of guys like Devenski and Peacock, but I'm going to count Peacock because he has 9 starts:

McCullers - 12th
Keuchel - 25th
Peacock - 33rd
Morton - 114th

We have yet to find a team worse than the Cubs!
