That Cmart line is one of the weirdest I've seen in a while. I can't imagine there are many games in MLB history where someone has walked 8, much less stuckout 10+

edit - yeah pretty sure it hasnt ever happened before in doing some brief digging. McCullers and Salazar did both have a 10K/6BB game last year

40 plus years ago this probably happened a few times. I bet Nolan Ryan had a few games like that, i dont even feel the need to look it up to be confident it happened.

I picked 1974 to look at, and he did it several times. What a crazy looking game log for a starting pitcher.

the worst part about being the defending world champs is that every series is the world series to the opposing teams. no more easy games from clown teams like the pirates.

Holy **** that may have been the worst foul ball call i've ever seen in the HOU OAK game. Not reviewable either

R.A. Dickey is going to be the only person to throw a pitch in competitive baseball in all 3 of the most recent Atlanta stadiums.

He pitched for Team U.S.A. in Atlanta Fulton County Stadium in '96, at Turner Field, and is starting at Sun Trust Park today.

Brandon Phillips was a 15-year old bat boy for Team U.S.A. back in '96

Winning the Series is the worst thing that could have happened to the Cubs. They lost their identity overnight and now all the hipsters are going to have to find another team to ironically root for.

AJ Burnett no hitter I believe featured exactly 8 walks. Edwin Jackson's had quite a bit too I believe.

That 1974 season for Nolan is just Mind blowing.

13 ip, 10 bb, 19k's on June 17th. Next 2 starts are on 3 days rest.

42nd and final start of the season, throws an 8 bb, 15k, no hitter.

Then pitches another 20 seasons with almost no injuries.

Compared to most celebrity visits, he was at least a genuine fan with some legit knowledge, but the lesson should be keep like 98% of them out of the booth.

Sandoval up with the bases loaded is not when I want to hear about Blue Bloods set stories.

It's also that kind of **** that perpetuates the "baseball is boring" narrative.

Does Turner get hit every game? He needs to be banned for this bull****. He must've gone to CSF.

LOL, I didn't even know he did. I just knew Cal State Fullerton was notorious for that back in the day. What a bunch of *******s.
