Well I've lived here for almost a decade so I'm aware of how grim the weather is in the summer, but I was hoping for like 75-80 especially in mid-June and the evening. Us English people melt above 80 it's like not feeding Mogwai after midnight or something.

Lol, that's fine. When it's 115 during the summer, I'll watch from inside the a/c while others are bitching about how hot it is. Not to mention early spring and late fall when everyone else is bundled up in 3 layers and sipping on hot chocolate, just trying to keep from freezing.

When the Marlins used to play at the old stadium, you had to bring a blanket because if you sat on the seat when it was 100 degrees out, you'd get burned. Watching baseball when the AC is cranking is the ****.

Agreed, I lived in Seattle back when the M's played in the Kingdome, and it never quite seemed like real baseball. Of course, that might have had something to do with the M's back then too...

Don't get me wrong, I love it when the roof and panels are open like they were Friday and Saturday night, even though it was 105 those days. But when it's a day game like Sunday was and it was 100+ out, that roof and a/c were very welcome.

There's something to be said for knowing every game you attend you'll have basically perfect conditions.

Agreed, he is a genius playing the long con, for having a guy with a .185 batting average leading off up to this point. MY CUBBIES ARE TOO GOOD TO BE STOPPED! The overperforming and career years, roster wide, from last year be damned!
