Matt Carpenter has to fade a Story blast or two from Aguilar or Arenado to lead the league in HRs. That is nuts.

Four years ago dude had the most plate appearances in the majors and hit 8 HRs.

His plate discipline is still horrific but really nice to see him take this leap with this pop. Tim Anderson isn’t a bad outcome given where he was not too long ago and he could end up being way better some years

In fun with small sample sizes (min 150 pa rookies) Ryan o Hearn is basically HOF v righties ��

In his last three games, Yelich is 3 for 5 with 8 walks and all three hits were homers. He's now 2 RBI away from the Triple Crown. And his dongs are coming in big moments, too (two of them were 2-run homers when the Brewers were down 3-0 and the latest broke a tie in the 7th).

He's got to cool off at some point, but that time hopefully won't be until next season.

Games 163 would be at Wrigley and/or Dodger Stadium on Monday.

If there's only one game, it would be at 405 EDT/305 CDT/105 PDT.

If there's two games, the cubs game would be at 105 Eastern and the dodgers game would be at 405 Eastern.
