lol I spent a good 20 minutes trying to find this as well. Seems all anyone cares about are records for most runs in certain time spans.

Someone who is bored break down the remaining schedules of the relevant teams and tell me who is going to make the playoffs.

That was a pretty good series for the Mariners’ run differential.

I watch 150+ full games a year, but still realize it can be boring. The wave is a good way for hot chicks and kids to stay into the game.

Haven't been to nearly 30 but maybe a dozen. Still think Dodger stadium is the "best" place to watch a game, once you are actually inside the stadium until the time you have to leave.

Michigan is not going to win the LLWS. For reference, Gross Pointe takes pride in their affluence and the divider line between them and Detroit. I'm enjoying the demise.

I read this last year about this time, and it popped up again on espn. I tried to get my coach to run something similar when I was in high school but I got laughed at. Love this play/story

Just saying that's it's 100% bull**** that the US has its own bracket in the LLWS. No way should they be guaranteed a place in the final. Total standard American bs.

What is the breakdown of # of little league players between US and rest of world?

But I agree with you that if there are say 16 teams in it, USA#1 can be allocated 8 teams, but not guaranteed a spot in the final.

I'm pretty sure that 12u is the only division that the US is guaranteed a spot, the other divisions mix US teams with ROW. Probably is as it should be, guaranteeing a US team in the finals probably maximizes TV revenue.

On second thought, they may get better ratings if there was a US team in a higher total number of games, and a US vs US final would be pretty interesting. There's only like 3 ROW teams a year that could win the title a year anyways (~the same for the US)

How much does it bother you the World Series is only contested between teams from North America?

Would it surprise you to know that Little League is a 3rd tier platform for youngsters?

Also, sorry for referring to you by LFS's undertitle.

Also, USA#1!

Calling the only amateur league in the world that has basically a 3 week stage on ESPN 3rd tier is pretty funny.

The players may not be as good as in other organizations, but it's still the #1 platform for literally anyone not on an mlb roster

Doesn't bother me at all, it's hilarious. Like calling whoever wins it "World Champions".

I've always been curious about how often the top team from another league (say Japan) would beat the World Series winner. Don't think it'd happen too often in a 7 game set tbh
