Uh oh, more bad news for the Sox. Rays just called up Matt Moore last night. They Say he will be used in relief, which the Rays desperately need.

Not as good as the one Kyle posted, but noted slugger Russell Martin (who hit 12 home runs in 2009 and 2010 combined) has twice as many homers at Target Field in 12 PA as Mauer has in 457 PA.

Pretty sure they have at least started to talk about the possibility of moving the fences in at Target Field, despite the fact that no other teams seem to have a problem when they visit. Last offseason we removed some trees from the batters eye that our hitters said were too distracting, which obviously helped a ton.

Right center is fairly deep, but our lefthanded hitters really turn into whiny pussies at home.

Edit: They got their point across of course, but they couldn't have cherrypicked four players with less power than Span, Nishi, Punto and Revere. Meh.

Hopefully this is somehow just a Manny being Manny misunderstanding, but probably not likely. :/

Don't look now, but the SFG are primed to pull within 7.5 games of AZ tonight.

NYY has a great lineup.

**** the haters. Phil Hughes is a legit pitcher in this league. He is a complete stud. easily a no.2 for many teams

Yes, extreme flyball pitchers facing the Mariners' offense in Safeco should probably look good for stretches.
