I dunno if Yanks fans are even top 5 worst. Cardinals, Lakers, Steelers all definitely worse, and I'm guessing there are others

Its possible that I'm not entirely objective. Lots of people don't like Cubs fans, but those people are all gay.

Cardinals fans are widely considered to be (some of) the best fans in baseball, and in all of sports, really

Nah Yankees fans aren't the worst, there just the dumbest.

With Jetto being the poster child for Yankee fans.

and every single one of them love this guy:

which is obviously unacceptable and unforgiveable. White sox fans are awful for the same reason, + aj and Hawk

Worst fans in sports:

1) Anything from Philly
2) Yankees, more specifically yankee fans with zero links to NYC
3) Boston
4) Raiders
5) Lakers

Where exactly does this come from? Is this just a Joe Buck thing? I have no idea how to quantify the best fans in baseball but it's definitely not St. Louis. Maybe Toronto?

Yeah I can't disagree with this
I wouldn't include Cubs fans on the list but that thing they do where they go to Brewers/Pirates games in their replica Cub jerseys and talk loudly during the whole game and yell "root, root, root for the CUBBIES!" during the 7th inning stretch despite the fact that their team is on a road trip 800 miles away is really obnoxious

cubs fans are pretty horrible. i guess backrunners is the right word for it? it seems like the more seasons they go without a championship the more fans they get....the dropoff after they finally win a title is gonna be hilarious

It's something you'll see current and former players say a lot. There's been several polls of players and people involved with baseball to this effect. They're famous for applauding opposing teams when they make great plays. There's a sense that they are a knowledgeable fan base. And baseball is pretty much everything in St. Louis.

i don't want complain about bad luck to much since after all, the gigantes are the defending world series champions, but the injuries have certainly been brutal and plentiful.

I don't think "applauding opposing teams when they make great plays" is really the mark of a great fan. Besides, it's not like they're applauding Milwaukee for going on a tear. It seems like more of them are just accusing them of cheating. To be honest, it's hard to really judge them as a whole until LaRussa's gone, b/c any Cardinal fan worth his salt can just blame everything on Tony, and in most cases they'd be right

It does show an appreciation for baseball and how it is being played. I mean, it's not surprising that Brewers and Cubs fans don't think highly of Cardinals fans. But considering everything, I struggle to think of a better baseball fan base.

Blue Yays fans are obviously the most passionate in baseball, as evidenced by this lineup outside the Eaton Centre for a Brett Lawrie autograph signing session.

I Expect them to be great every year. its in their organization. i would be pissed if they ever reach around 5+ of .500 or even 10+. I am accustomed to seeing them win. Thats what their org is built on. Ive been to PIT. Ie talked to PIT pir fans. Thats a sad situation that I hope gets changed. they need to scrap the owner somehow, someway. if they turned down Cuban. **** em then. they deserve to be the WOAT.

Also, Yes giving up 9 runs in any game is poor.
