anytime you can trade for a guy with a .372 BABIP you just have to do it. he's like the opposite of inge - he never gets unlucky, and inge always gets unlucky. positive trade IMO
I've actually liked Wilson Betemit for awhile now. His defense is pretty ****ty, but he can play a few positions slightly below-average and is a league average batter. (at 3b this is pretty good) However, he is not a "switch" hitter. He is terribad vs. LHP and probably one of those guys who should just take the platoon disadvantage and bat lefty against them.
Still, guys like Betemit are pretty valuable if they're cheap.
