How did I not make first page?

I doubt either WS representative makes the playoffs. Also, in spite of all the hype, at least one Philly and Red Sox starter will miss significant time. So excited for opening day. Felix gonna Felix. Of course that means a 2-1 loss. Go Mariners!

Here are those who will under perform

Side note, is Greer temp banned or something? I saw the notes on the first page about making up for lost time.

I need a list of minor league ERAs from 2005-2010. Preferably in a spreadsheet format. They have this stuff listed on B-R.com but it is a giant pain in the dicksack to put together.

So... when looking around, I noticed this:

B-R batting lines for the IL, 2010
Official MiLB.com batting lines for IL, 2010
My batted ball data for the IL (Longoria)

WTF B-R? The average OBP of the league in 2010 was close to .400? How many PAs did Dan Johnson have?

Anyone know WTF that is?

Dustin McGowan had such huge hype but that guy just cannot stay healthy, I remember when I was on the Blue Jay bandwagon when Halladay, Burnett made the Blue Jays ahead of the Red Sox that one year. What happened to Purcey/Litsch?

i may be mistaken, but did litsch ever project to be anything other than what he is right now? Purcey just can't find the strike zone and has been rerouted as a reliever. right now his future falls somewhere in between closer of the future and lifetime AAAA.

MLEs (too optimistic) and park factors (too pessimistic) were ****ed up. I fixed them. Someone from the THT mailing list pointed it out. Brandon Belt is no longer superman. Sorry.

ETA: Can't do pitching in any meaningful way until I get league average ERAs for each minor league. I can list components but scaling FIP/xFIP to ERA will be impossible without those numbers.

ETA2: Getting pitching up through 2010 is likely to be my last work that I'll put into the site as long as it remains open source since it's too much goddamned work to scrap MiLB data myself, find league average ERAs, etc. (as Jeff undoubtably figured out on his own) THT expressed interest in having this as a premium service behind a paywall, at which point I'll do a lot more development. I'll leave the MLEs up for 2005 or something as a proof of concept, but the ability to have all the data I need from Brian's database (and Oliver projections) would more than make it worth selling my soul.

Sean just has the columns in the wrong order, bref's SB are BB, their CS are probably IBB, the BB column is SO, SF is SB, GDP is CS i dunno about the other stuff

also his obp is derived from H+BB+HBP/PA rather than scraped
