Probably, but the Astros are pushing last year's #3 starter to the pen this year because they are so stacked.

I'd be in on whatever $50 canadian is (presently trading at ~$39US) on Jays STARTING PITCHCING vs. Baltimore, using rWAR. Could probably be convinced to make the same bet on Tampa but I'm iffy on how we'd calculate given their bullpen days, so we'd have to chat about it.

Mariners coming in super underrated!

The one thing keeping my optimism in check is the ****ing Houston ballclub.

Foolish to think the Mariners are playing for anything other than the Wild Card game. But theyve got a legit shot at that so Im all aboard!

And interested in the development of the young White Sox. Hope to see Eloy Jiminez up this season.

I don't think anyone has hopes of a division title.

I know hope springs eternal in spring training before the games start,

but I'm pretty excited to see all the young kids the Braves have.

Sooooo much young talent to be excited about, like Acuna, Albies, post-hype Dansby, all the pitchers,

The Braves could absolutely pull a Brewers last year, move up the rebuild and surprise people, and contend for a playoff spot most of the summer... before fading, because 3B is a giant black hole and we currently still employ Nick Markakis.

I'm not looking to bet, but I really do think there's value on o74.5

How long until Acuna is called up?

People are saying April 13

He obviously has nothing left to prove in AAA or Spring Training

I was thinking about adding Braves over but I already bet Phils > Braves so it seems counterproductive.

But I do have a sick desire to bet on half of the MLB O/Us. I am at 13 or 14 now.

I enjoyed the Braves GM trying to spin Acuna needing "more seasoning" in the minors and not a service time issue during the game the other day.

It's likely Dansby just sucks again, though. I have high confidence in Acuna, Albies, Freeman, Inciarte...not so much after that. Flowers/Suzuki regression probable.

The rotation will be better once Soroka, Gohara, Newcomb are all up and healthy but they could definitely have growing pains. I agree that there's a lot to be excited about but there are more holes in this roster than swiss cheese. How bout that 2018 offseason though...gonna be lit

So yes, Estrada has outperformed the entire garbage Orioles rotation.

You clearly don't follow other teams that closely, because there's 0 chance that Shapiro trades a stud pitcher like Stroman when he has 3 years of arb eligibility left.

I can understand being a homer, but you are so far off on this one that it's ridiculous.

I didn't watch a single O's game last year, and probably won't this year either. But I get to root against 3 of the most hateable teams in baseball, who just happen to be in their division. Also, Estrada will be dog**** this year.

I know you're new here (unless you're not?), but you'll soon realize that pretty much every tx posts is intended to be just barely on the ridiculous end of the spectrum so as to stir up a bit of nonsense, while maintaining plausible deniability that he's doing exactly not that. Best to just let those ones go. Welcome aboard though, you post well so far.

Agree with this regarding the over but taking futures out of it they won 72.games last season. If they get a full season of Freddie and a better season from Tehran they eclipse that total by default.
