Is anyone angrier over this whole ordeal than Ben Lindburgh? He wrote an entire book about how the Astros are filled to the brim with geniuses. Then that bit about sexism came out and he tried desperately to distance himself. Not sure why exactly but he did. And now these newer allegations are too frequent to dismiss. His book is rubbish now and he knows it.

That shows their "alleged" video cheating setup just inside the tunnel from the dugout including a big TV monitor and the trash can they'd beat on which is obscured behind the guy fiddling with the monitor.

I still don't see a problem. Coaches of little leaguers try to steal signs. Other teams are in the outfield with binoculars(It's 2020 for ****s sake) every game, the Astros are just more technologically advanced.

Exactly. Seems like this could only possible be a problem if MLB had a rule in place that clearly, specifically and unambiguously prohibited teams from using technology such as cameras to aid in stealing team's signs. I haven't checked it out, but I know that Astros have a scrupulously ethical front office so I'm sure there wasn't a rule along those lines on the books when all this was going on.

It was lucky they had some towels hanging out to dry in a super convenient place blocking the view of their set up from the field.

Incorrect assumption. The Astros, outside of Hinch, are smarter than the rest of the league. If they can trade Springer and Korea this offseason, it will be cemented.

Brewers have some press conference or something at 6:30pm local time tonight. Rumor is that it's an announcement of a new logo and uniforms.


It's pretty much known that they are going back to the old "Ball in Glove" logo as the primary, though with a couple minor tweaks.

Yup, the Brewers just unveiled the new logos and uniforms. Ball in glove is back.

It's been tweaked a little, which my brain is struggling with after decades of knowing the old one, but I'll get used to it. Most people won't notice.


For the alternate logos, they brought back the Barrel Man from the 70's and added a Wisconsin outline (like the Bucks) and a baseball with barley as the seams.

Home primary uniform is cream color with block lettering, a callback to the 70's uniforms. Home alternate is a lot like the old 80's pinstripes. The blue is now navy and the font is slightly different than the old one.

Away primary is I think the grey one. That would make the navy with Milwaukee in cursive the alternate. They also have an away cap with the old yellow front panel, which I love.
