The bref simulation has the Doyers at 70-23. That sim clearly doesn't factor in that they are dumb enough to be outsmarted by someone banging on a trashcan.

Miguel Sano with 173 SO through 90 games. It would be funny to see, but that's not possible and I would have bet on him having a good bounce back year.

When one team tries to steal signs, and then relay them in all their complex ways, and the other just keeps it simple and bangs on a trash can, I'd say one team is smarter than the other.

Either way the Dodgers weren't going 70-23 this year. I'm not sure how much Kurt Shaw has left in the tank. Urias would be fun to watch, Buehler is great, Wood is good, but I don't see a .750 on paper even with the **** M's and Giants in the division.

In regards to team name changes, which I am usually against, but I do think a few could be kind of cool.

Cleveland Indians change back to Cleveland Spiders. I kind of like that.

And maybe the Braves change to a former Negro League team name like the Monarchs or Black Crackers.

Curious to hear what you guys think about that?

I thought that was for NFL. It used to be if the local NFL game didn't sell out by a certain time, it would be blacked out from local TV. AKA I didn't have to watch many Cardinals games on TV during my youth.

For baseball, they've always shown local games on the channel who holds the rights, and therefore don't want streaming to interfere with that huge cash cow.

Its so brutal in Las Vegas. All CA teams and the Dbacks are blacked out. Fortunately with YouTubeTV i get all those team's games on their proper networks, except the Dodgers.

An A's at Royals game is blacked out in Las Vegas. ******ed.

Until they can figure out how to get more money from MLBtv then they do from Regional Sports Networks television contracts, they'll always black out local games.

I'd love to get MLBtv but it's pointless for me.

Why doesn't MLB just concede this is a gimmick season and add in tug-of-war match during the 7th inning stretch? Or for the youngsters, a game of fortnite counts as 4 runs.
